Another Scenic Coast Fun Fold

Today I’ve got another fun fold for you – this one looks difficult but is soo simple to create!

And it really highlights the beautiful Scenic Coast Specialty Designer Series Paper (167773) and it’s lovely shimmer.

The card base is a quarter sheet, that measures 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ A couple of 1 1/2″ strips of the Scenic Coast paper are used on the two outside edges. Then a 3 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ panel that has been scored at 4 1/4″ is layered on top. You’ll line up the score line with the top of the card.

The outside flap is decorated with paper that completes the background and another that has been die cut and stamped with the sentiment.

Decorate the inside as desired and scatter a few of the Sunset Sparkle Sequins (167785) a bit more shine!

Voila! what a beautiful scene, right?

Sunset Coast Torn Edge Technique Card Tutorial

I’ve got another fun card using the Sunset Coast Dies (167780) for you today this time using a quick and simple technique.

The torn edge – I love this technique since it always gives you a little different look based on how you tear the card stock. Now, when I was new to stamping this really bothered me as I wanted all my cards to look the same, but once you embrace the inconstancy you’ll find yourself tearing away!

I really like the way it turned out since the torn edge feels very natural to me.

Want to see how I created this card? I’ve got a little video tutorial for you. And of course, a PDF too!
