Back on June 10th I shared my NEW framelit organization with you. (You can click HERE to see that post which includes a tutorial on how to use the pdf file.) They seemed to have been a hit and several of you asked about the retired framelit case inserts. Well I’ve been working on finishing mine and it’s taken me a bit. I’m still working on organizing and setting up my new laptop, need I say more LOL! But here is what I’ve got for now.

Framelits & Thinlits Organization 101

I love keeping my Framelit dies in easy to open clear mount cases and so I thought I’d share with you the new labels I created for the NEW 2016 Annual Catalog.

It’s always fun to freshen up my crafting space and these new inserts are colorful in addition to having the picture on the front so you know exactly where that framelit came from! (Something my old Framelit inserts didn’t have.)

Here is what the case looks like on the inside.

What’s that black sheet? Well believe it or not it is a Magnetic Vent Cover that I find in my local Building Supply big box store. They are inexpensive and work great for this.

I simply cut them with my trimmer and add a little of our Tear & Tape to the back and press. (They come in large 8 x 15 sheets so you can get several cases for your Framelits out of a package when you cut them to fit.) Perfect for holding those Framelits!

Want to get organized too? Well you’re in luck because today I’m sharing files for all the Framelits in the 2016 Annual Catalog that will fit into our Clear Mount cases (119105).

Check out this quick video I made showing you how to use the PDFs and cut them down.

What’s Your Type? and More Organizational Items

I’ve got some more organization items for you, but first I wanted to share a card that I received recently from my friend Anna. Check out this great new stamp set from the 2014-2015 Annual Catalog, What’s Your Type?

What’s Your Type? (135747) is one of our cool new Photopolymer stamp sets that you’ll find in the 2014-2015 Annual Catalog. Photopolymer make things really easy to line up. It’s also a two-step stamp set. The What’s Your Type? is a little different however, because not only can you add addition dimension by stamping in two colors, but you can make really cool words and designs.

Anna used the same image and stamped it twice, lining up the images edges to create shapes for this card using the line pieces. Cool, right? (Check out page 161 in the catalog to see even more ideas.)

You can find the supply list for this card below. But I wanted to share some organizational items that I promised you yesterday first.

This first one is a Accessories Index for the 2014-2015 Annual Catalog. I know that Stampin’ Up! has provided us with two great indexes right in the catalog this year, but I got such wonderful feedback last year with the one I created, I thought I would update it any way to share. Framelits Organization

I love to organize my stamp room, how about you? I know it is always a work in progress, but I can’t help the great feeling I get when I finish organizing my space. Sound familiar? If so you may enjoy this latest item I’ve created to organize my space.

With the NEW 2013-2014 Catalog there are even more great NEW framelits offered and although I’d already begun to use our Clear Mount Cases (item 119105) to store them I wasn’t real happy with the labels I had on them.

So I created my Famelits Organization Printables. What is that you may ask? Well it is a FREE printable download for you to use to help organize your Framelits and Edgelits too!

Here is a picture of my cases ready to go. (I’ve had to print mine out in blue since my printer is being difficult and I’m afraid ready to give up on me, but the file has been saved in black for you, so no worries.)

I’ve also created a FREE Edgelits Oraganization Printables for you too. I like to keep all my Edgelits together for right now, but you may want to have a separate case for them – so I’ve created them both ways. Just print the pages you want.
