About Stamp with Jini

My name is Jini Merck and I'm a Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator. I love being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and friends. For me, helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people in your life. I live in Clarkesville which is in the North Georgia Mountains with my husband and two children. Although my family keeps me busy I enjoy the creativity of stamping and crafts and the fellowship stamping brings into my life. Spending time creativing cards and gifts for friends and family has been one of my favorite hobbies over the years.

Spot lighting Sale-a-bration’s Corner Bouquet

Todays cards all use the Corner Bouquet stamp set that you can earn during Sale-a-bration with a qualifying order. This stamp set is great since you can team up these lovely images with your favorite sentiment sets.

Check out these lovely cards made using this stamp set. This first card is done a fun blending technique using our NEW Blending Brushes (153611) and the Oh So Ombre Designer Series Paper (Sale-a-bration 155225).

I love the rich colors on this card and the Artistry Blooms Sequins add a pop of shimmer.

This next card uses a simple ink pad technique that gives your projects a 2 tone effect.

Simply ink up the image using the lighter color, here Mint Macaron was used as normal. Then use the second ink pad to tap the areas you want to highlight. Cool right? The lovely Very Vanilla Gold Metallic Edged Ribbon (144146) and Metallic Pears (146282) add a beautiful elegance to this sympathy card. Do you recognize the sentiment? Its from another stamp set you can earn, the Heal Your Heart stamp set (Sale-a-bration 155291).

And this next card is done in Just Jade and uses 3 of our Sale-a-bration products, can you name them?

The sentiment is from the Approaching Perfection stamp set (Sale-a-bration155282) and the polka dots are from the Flower and Field Designer Series Paper (Sale-a-bration 155223).

And how about this next card done in Bumblebee and Garden Green? I love the way the image is used to create a fun background panel.

This next card teams up the Corner Bouquet with the Positive Thoughts stamp set (151490) and is done in Rich Razzleberry and Smoky Slate.

And last but not least this rich card done in jewel tones uses the Dandy Garden Designer Series paper (154297) along with the Dragonflies Punch (154240) and Classic Labels Punch (141491)

So what do you think? Have a favorite? I know I can’t pick just one.

More Berry Blessings

During this cold winter weather it’s always fun to see the bright reds and blues of berries in my local grocery stores. It’s a sign and promise of what is to come and warmer weather. I’ve had blueberry bushes in my yard for years and always enjoy seeing those little bell shaped blossoms. I was surprised years ago while sitting in our local extension service class learning how to install the bushes to learn all the benefits of those little sticks we were going to pick up. After a few years not only did our bushes at our old house beginning give a bounty of berries they were pretty year round too. Even in the fall the leaves turn bright red before they fall off. How about you? Are you dreaming of soft summer breezes and fresh sweet berries from the yard?

Check out these lovely cards made using the Berry Blessings Stamp set and Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper (Sale-a-bration 157613). This first one uses a fun fold and our Misty Moonlight and Balmy Blue.

More Berry Blessings

And this next one uses Real Red to create these yummy raspberries. A bit of our Champagne Foil sheets and Basic Pearls adds a bit of shine.

And this last card is a fun way to use scraps,

So what do you think? Which card do you like best?

Did you know that you can earn this bundle for FREE during Sale-a-bration? You can when you place a qualifying purchase with me, but you’ll want to hurry because Sale-a-bration ends on February 28th!

I love the landscape option for cards. Do you find you tend to gravitate toward landscape or portrait layouts? Back in High School my art teacher, Mr. Panaro pointed out to me that every time he gave us an option my choice always was landscape. While that was many years ago that observation still rings true. I try to create with the portrait layout in mind too, which is part of what I love about this Mix It Up Series, it always us to stretch and try new things. Have you ever noticed you tend to gravitate towards a certain layout more? Why not leave me a comment and let me know?

Enjoy! Looks like it will be a good weekend to stay inside and craft a little, but then any time is a good time to craft a little if you ask me!

Dragonfly Garden Mix It Up Series #1 final Tutorial

Today marks the end of my Mix It Up Series Series #1 and it’s final project. This week I’ve been sharing with you cards all made with the same pieces, just mixed up. This technique is a fun and quick way to create cards quickly. Whether your new to stamping or a avid crafter like myself you’ll find this series a great way to craft.

Today’s card once again uses the classic Misty Moonlight and Bumblebee combination. Since it uses just 2 ink pads it’s a great way to start building your color collection. And since they both are part of our 2020-2022 In Color Collection you can choose our Cardstock Assortment pack since it contains all 5 colors in the In Color collection.

Done in a landscape layout it with simple stamping – this sentiment is a great way to spread some cheer.

Here is my video tutorial and a printable PDF also for you. Did you know that each of my PDF tutorials not only gives you a complete supply list, measurements, and step by step directions as a companion to the video but it also includes the YouTube link? Yep, they do – that makes it simple to keep everything in one place!
