My name is Jini Merck and I'm a Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator. I love being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and friends. For me, helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people in your life. I live in Clarkesville which is in the North Georgia Mountains with my husband and two children. Although my family keeps me busy I enjoy the creativity of stamping and crafts and the fellowship stamping brings into my life. Spending time creativing cards and gifts for friends and family has been one of my favorite hobbies over the years.

Gingerbread Cookies – mmm

I’ve had a slow start with my baking this year due to some family emergencies. But I’m happy to say that now my daughter has gotten her CT I’m ready to get in the kitchen and distress while I wait to hear the results.

While I’m cranking the tunes and baking I thought I would share this fun gingerbread card. I’m sorry to say that the demo who gave this to me didn’t include her name.

Color Spritzer Stand

Are you in love with our Color Spritzers? I know I am and at $2.95 for 2 you can get one for each color!

My son has taken over our garage with his wood working tools this past month or so and has been building away getting his set up just so. So when he saw all my Color Spritzers laying on the table in my studio he asked me what they were for. I could see his mind working away on a way to store them for me – he found the answer quickly.

So here is his design. He made the Color Spritzer Stand for me to hold an entire color collection – Isn’t it great! No more hunting for the right color I need. I used my trusty label maker to write the color on them as I fill them so they are all organized and easy to put back into the right holder.(No OCD here right?)

Here is a picture of both the Color Spritzer Stand he built for me and the old marker holders he and his dad made when he was younger. These were great for the kids – no markers rolling off the table and falling on the floor to dry out or have to pick up. The kids teachers loved them since we always gave them a set for their classrooms each year when school started.

What is my daughter doing? She’s checking out Stampin’ Up!’S new Simply Sent Iphone App and having fun creating cards and photo pages that she is sending her friends -Here is her first try.

Kaitlin is not a big traditional stamper like my guys, she prefers digital stamping – so this is right up her alley. And since she would rather die than hand over her Iphone she was tickled to play with the FREE Simply Sent App.

Here is a page she created for her Key Club friends from their National Convention this summer in Orlando. Kaitlin was impressed with how quick and easy it was to use.

I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We celebrated ours late but we enjoyed our family time. My daughter was a huge help with the decorating this weekend so I thought I’d post a picture. We finally finished putting the last ornament on the tree yesterday. There are wonderful memories connected with each ornament that we reminisce about as we hang them on the tree. Now we can sit back and enjoy it.
