Team Time = Fun Time

Yesterday I held my monthly team meeting and we had a blast playing with the Brusho Crystal Colors and learning 4 Brusho techniques together.

We also celebrated those promotions to Bronze Elite with a team gift – a team charm bracelet.

and our challenge winners from the past three months with rewards.

And of course we had to have some drawing winners too!

Those that had their names drawn got to pick out a little something from the prize basket – Always a hit.

Of course sharing is a big part of our team meeting and so I thought I’d share the swaps.

This first project is a little book mark that uses the Friendship’s Sweetest Thoughts stamp set (145823/145826) done is soft sweet colors.

This bookmark is magnetic so it opens to slide over the page. Love the soft colors for spring.

And this one will dazzle you LOL!

made with the Myths & Magic Specialty Designer Series Paper (145600) and Glimmer Paper (145601). Do you recognize the sentiment? It’s from our Pocketful of Sunshine Stamp set (143719).

And how about this sweet little box?

The cut out is from our Rainbow Builder Framelits Dies (145659) and the rose is made with our 1 3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch (146139). Sweet right?

Bubble Over Birthday Fun

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. Here in North Georgia we couldn’t have asked for nicer weather, but it was rather odd having it fall on April Fool’s Day this year. Yesterday was also my son, Johnathan’s 26th birthday and so I wanted to make him something special. I was inspired by our recent Stampin’ Success, so I reached for my Bubble Over Bundle and got to work. (I bet you can imagine how many times I was told he’ll arrive any moment during labor, followed by April Fool’s Day! Not a lot of fun after 12 hours in labor and it being my first. But then I wouldn’t have those fun stories to tell him either. LOL!)

And of course, I always make a theme cake for him that was inspired by the Bubble Over Bundle. The cap is a little wonky but he didn’t seem to mind.

He loves the special theme cakes that I’ve made over the years for him and this one was no different. It put a big smile on his face, and I learned something too. Did you know you can make a beer cake? I didn’t until my friend mentioned it, but why not right? Need to check out some recipes since I know it will be a lot of fun to give a try. (How appalling after being raised in Milwaukee. Ahhh the smell of hops… a story for another time.) LOL!

Springtime Foils Stylized Birthday Cards

It’s almost that time to send out birthday cards again and so today I’m going to share with you the #imbringingbirthdaysback card that I designed for April. I couldn’t resist using the Springtime Foil Specialty Designer Series Paper that is part of the Sale-a-bration choices since it is just so gorgeous!!!

And it was soooo easy to make! Each card looks a bit different since I used the flowers from the sheet of designer series paper that I cut out and simply colored them in with my Blends. Love the look!

This paper is also great for all kinds of techniques too! The options are endless since it has a glossy type finish and is a heavy card stock.

You’re Inspiring

As I mentioned the other day, I can’t get enough of this stamp set – here is another card I made for a friend this Easter.

I’m loving the way the Wink of Stella brings depth to these daffodils. I wish you can tell from my picture how much it shimmers – And the Basket Weave Embossing Folder is one of our Sale-a-bration items that is available until Saturday, March 31st.

You’re Inspiring Easter Card Tutorial

I loved the daffodil images in the You’re Inspiring stamp set (145805/145808) as soon as I saw it, so was excited to sit down and play with it the other day. I came up with a bunch of cards quickly and wanted to share one with you today.

I designed this card for Easter. Seemed there were always these smiling little faces trying to pop up on a warm winter day – next to the snow in Wisconsin it was a cheerful pop of color. LOL!

I love the way the faux embossed Letter Press technique that I used for this card turned out using the Basket Weave Embossing Folder that is part of the Sale-a-bration Blooming Basket Bundle (147504/147505). I can’t wait to play more with this folder.

Pretty Kitty Birthday Card

The Pretty Kitty stamp set is one of my favorite images to team up with our Watercolor Pencils since since I can create a softer image. Check out this card I made recently for one of my friends who is a cat lover.

March Thank You Cards – All Things Thanks Tutorial

I love to send out thank you cards each month to my stamping friends – It not only allows me to share, but say thank you to them for choosing me as their demonstrator. This month’s card is a monochromatic card made with the All Things Thanks stamp set, which is one of my favorites since it has a variety of fonts and sizes. It makes it a perfect set for all kinds of projects!

And the fact it is monochromatic makes it perfect for new stampers since it uses a limited amount of supplies!

Got your Reinkers? – 2016 In Color Reminder

Just a reminder as we head in to the last couple of weeks of Sale-a-bration. It’s a great time to finish up your color families and make sure that you have the products that you need and love AND earn FREE Sale-a-bration products.
