Rain or Sunshine

It’s a rainy day here in North Georgia so I thought it was a perfect time to share some fun projects using the Rain or Shine Suite (160556) found in our Mini Catalog.

I fell in love with this cute little set the first time I saw it – with it’s fun little images and sayings it’s perfect for spring and more. And since it is part of a Suite it has a bunch of coordinating products making crafting super simple too. And since you can use the coordinating Playing in the Rain Dies (160550) to cut images from the Rain or Shine Specialty Designer Paper (160540). Check out these cute cards that use this fun Suite. This first card uses the Raindrops Embossing Folder (160551) to create a fun Pacific Point back drop.

Oh and did I mention the Designer Series Paper has a fun UV Coating on some of the images to make them shine? So much fun! This little guy’s coat and umbrella have the coating and the Stylish Shape Dies (159183) were used to cut him out. These next card uses simple stamping and coloring with our Stampin’ Blends to create a fun card.

Another Fun Pop Up Card Tutorial

Don’t you love fun fold cards? I know I do and today’s tutorial is for a quick and easy fun fold that stands up for display using the Sale-a-bration stamp set Adorable Owls. This set is filled with fun images that are perfect for coloring with our Stampin’ Blends.

I’ve used the In Color, Fresh Freesia for this card and teamed it up with one of my favorite colors, Coastal Cabana giving it a soft springtime feel. And I’ve added another cute little image to the back signature panel too.

Team Valentine fun

Since tomorrow is Valentine’s Day I thought today I’d share projects from my Team Meeting this last week. Each month as a group we gather, stamp together, and share what we’ve been doing since the last time we got together. I always love to see what everyone has been stamping and each month there is a theme to inspire them for this swapping time.

This first fun fold card was created as a no stamp project. Instead it uses our Heart Punch Pack (151292) and Country Lane Floral Designer Series Paper (160375).

It also uses the Opaque Adhesive Backed Gems (160412) and fun White Glittered 3/8″ Organdy Ribbon (156408).

Fun right? And how about a little box using the same products?

This box was created using my video tutorial HERE. It’s such a quick and easy box to create you can whip up a punch of them in no time and it holds quite a bit too! Next is a fun spinner card using the Easter Bunny Bundle (160606) for a non traditional use of the set along with the same punch and paper.

Did you know that at times items like the Easter Bunny Punch (160331) can go onto Back Order? With popular items like this sometimes we run out and haven’t gotten our next shipment in. When that happens you’ll see a “Currently Unavailable” message listed on the product. A quick & easy friendship card using Adorable Owls

Today’s card has been made with the Adorable Owls (Sale-a-bration 160269) and has been done in our In Colors.

And since our In Colors come in fun to use assortments you can create quickly and easily. This little guy has been colored with our Stampin’ Blends and is so much fun to color. It’s amazing how quickly you can change the feel of this little guy simply by changing up his eye color. I was going to a more masculine feel to this card so I stuck with the greens this go around.

More fun with Adorable Owls

I can’t get enough of this adorable little stamp set, how about you? So today I’ll be sharing some of the swap cards that I received using this cute little guy. I just love how you can use the set for all kinds of cards.

How about some friendship cards to start? Here is a fun one that uses our new Happy Labels Pick a Punch (160693) for the fun little swing that the owl is sitting on.

Our Basic Border Dies (155558) and fun Three Twine Combo Pack (160597) and Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins (160387) compliment another of our Sale-a-bration products, the Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper Stack (Sale-a-bration 160836). Cute right? And this next friendship card takes on a whole different feel that is more nature geared.

This time the Soft Suede layer has been dry embossed with our Timber 3d Embossing Folder (156406) for some texture. The branch has been cut from Mossy Meadow using a die from the Meadow Dies (155852) and the Stylish Shape Dies (159183) adds a bit more texture with it’s stitched edges and Vellum Card stock piece.

And these next three cards a great for celebrating. This first card is bright and cheerful and it pulls it’s color pallet from the Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper Stack (Sale-a-bration 160836).

And how about a fun faux window card?

This card is done in softer colors and uses the By the Bay Specialty Designer Series Paper (160434) giving it a landscape feel to the backdrop. How cool is that?

And finally a fun little graduation card using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder (156505) and Regency Park Designer Series Paper (160559)

to create a classic Blue & Gold combo. A Bit of our Metallic Woven Ribbon (159198) and Adhesive Backed Milky Dots (160582) complete the look.

Beautifully Happy

Today’s cards use another of the Sale-a-bration stamp sets, Beautifully Happy (Sale-a-bration 160804). This set is not only filled with lovely 2 step water colored images but also has some wonderful all occasion sentiments.

The images when you stamp them have shading build in to the image so you’ll get this wonderful soft subtle watercolor look. Check out these card made with the set.

This first card is bright and cheerful with it’s Daffodil Delight blooms. The Daffodil has been teamed up with the Balmy Blue gingham pattern from our Country Gingham Designer Series Paper (160388). And how about this next card done in the same Balmy Blue?

This card uses the Stylish Shapes Dies to highlight the image and the Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper (Sale-a-bration 160836) peeks out from behind the Split Card Texture Dies (159162) for a soft subtle feel.

And while these next two cards use the 2022-2024 In Colors they have a completely different look.

Stitched with Whimsy Dies (155314) and a lovely bit of texture and the In Color Metallic Woven Ribbon a bit of shine. And today’s last card uses our Heat Embossing to make this image pop on the card front.

The monochromatic color pallet of Calypso Coral uses the Pretty Prints Designer Series Paper (159245) brings it all together.

In the Country

Did you know that we have a lovely set that has some wonderful sketched images in it called In the Country (Sale-a-bration 160828) as one of your Sale-a-bration choices?

I love sets like this since they are so easy to work with, make wonderful monochromatic cards, and add your favorite sentiments to. Today I’m sharing some cards using the landscape image from the set that I received in a swap. While each of them use the same image they have a different feel to them based on their color choices and accessories chosen. This first one uses simple stamping along

The image and sentiment has been stamped in Early Espresso and the texture in the background was created with VersaMark and the Drybrush Background stamp (152599). And this next card uses the Crumb Cake to create a softer image.

The NEW Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder (160580) gives it a more intense feeling of texture in the background. And for a pop of color how about this last card using the Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper (160836) and the Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequims (160387)?

the sentiment has been punched out with the Label Me Fancy Punch (151297) and popped up. The bit of Burlap Ribbon (160386) from our combo pack adds a bit more texture.

Like I said same set, but yet so different. Don’t you love that about stamping? I know I do!

Today’s card tutorial uses the Adorable Owls stamp set from our Sale-a-bration line up. Not only is this set filled with cute images that are great for coloring, you can use the all occasions sentiment for Valentine’s Day too.

Check out this fun card I made using the set and our In Colors for a non traditional color pallet for this day filled with love.

Done in Pale Papaya and Soft Succulent this card can be made easily with the assortment pack of Card stock and In Color Designer Series Paper. And since the In Color Opal Rounds come in all 5 In Colors you can create all different combinations easily.
