After watching the news last night and the horrible wild fires in Australia it got me thinking about all the people effected, the Australian Zoo, the late Steve Irwin, and his families work to save the animals. My daughter’s love of crocodiles began with the Crocodile Hunter as a child and she still can’t pass up an opportunity to see them. Anyhow I bet you wonder where I’m going with this, right? Well she had me watching the latest TV show (sorry I can’t remember what it was called) over Christmas break with her, which got me thinking about Koala Bears which naturally made me think of this adorable set in our January-June 2020 Mini Catalog filled with animal images.
I know that’s the long way around, it’s funny how we connect things in our thoughts, but I wanted to share this card with you today highlighting this little koala bear. Its such a fun card. I received in my recent swap and it shows just how cute this stamp set is!
The set coordinates with a set of dies that cut out the Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper too in addition to the stamped images, fun right?
In fact there is a whole Suite of Products that is build around this stamp set – filled with tons of fun products.

Learning new things is always fun and during OnStage in November one of the presenters showed us a Reverse Die Cutting Technique which I couldn’t resist recreating with my team at our OnStage After Party.
This card not only use a fancy fold called the Double Point, it also uses a fun technique with our dies. It was definitely a wow moment at my table that afternoon. And since I know that if I don’t do something right away I’d forget the steps, I whipped up this project quickly.
Not only are you going to love the New Dressed to Impress Bundle with it’s quirky sayings, but it is perfect for this technique with the shoe image.
This stamp set is part of my March Classes so why not stop by my Calendar of Events and save the date. Not only am I offering it LIVE but it will also be available in a Kit to Go you you can get the free class when you sign up too!
Want to see how I made this card? I’ve got a couple of videos for you so you can make one too!
Then stop back by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing one of the resources with you – my Technique Book.
Meanwhile here are some pictures from the OnStage After Party. We started with a nice meal together.
There was lots of fun, stamping and prizes to go around too!
Here is a group photo from that evening.

Today’s cards use the Free Skate stamp set (150537) from the Holiday Catalog and are also part of our Retirement List.
This first card uses our Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper that is currently sold out, but the good news is you can get the bundle now and then get the paper next fall when it is available again.
And here is one done in Rocco Rose using our Swirls & Curls Embossing Folder (147923).
Love a timeless look? Here are some cards made with the So Many Stars stamp set (150496) and it’s coordinating Stitched Star Dies (150653) available in a Bundle (153016) while supplies last.
If you love the copper elements on these cards you’ll want to get them now before they are gone since they are included on the retirement list. The Brightly Gleaming Designer Series Paper will be returning in the fall of 2020, yippee.
This next card is done in blues and silver this card uses our Scroll Embossing Folder (Retiring 150665) for a classic elegant feel.
And for my final stamp set today, God’s Peace. This lovely card made using the God’s Peace stamp set (150479) and a fairly easy technique.
This card was created by stamping the image onto a Window Sheet and using StazOn Ink. The image was then colored using our Stampin’ Blends (on the other side that the StazOn was used). The square was cut out and then the image was layered between the pieces of card stock. So striking.

Have you ever made a gingerbread house? One of my earliest memories of the Brownies is making gingerbread houses out of our milk cartons and graham crackers. Slathering on the royal icing and decorating with candy. I would imagine children don’t have the wax paper cartons like we did, but I’m sure you get the idea. Any how, It’s what I think of when I see this set – including the years of fun with my own kids at the kitchen table doing the same.
Seems just yesterday. Even my husband joined in our annual Christmas baking
Check out these fun cards made with the Yummy Christmas stamp set (150501) and their coordinating dies found in the Annual Catalog, Cuckoo Clock Dies (146632).
