Color Refresh Pocket Ring

Want to see one of the FREE goodies that those who attended my Luau Catalog Launch this past weekend could choose from? I created the cover in My Digital Studio. Here are the Color Refresh Pocket Rings that I made for my Luau Catalog Launch.

This item was recently inspired by my friend Cindy whom didn’t have a color ring with her while out shopping. Gasp and horror! I’ve got one that I carry in my purse that I’ve had for years. (You can click HERE to see that blog post.)

So I got to thinking after hearing her story that others might enjoy having one too – So I came up with the Color Refresh Pocket Ring. Here is a close up of the color ring. They seemed to be a big hit with my ladies.

Framelits Organization

I love to organize my stamp room, how about you? I know it is always a work in progress, but I can’t help the great feeling I get when I finish organizing my space. Sound familiar? If so you may enjoy this latest item I’ve created to organize my space.

With the NEW 2013-2014 Catalog there are even more great NEW framelits offered and although I’d already begun to use our Clear Mount Cases (item 119105) to store them I wasn’t real happy with the labels I had on them.

So I created my Famelits Organization Printables. What is that you may ask? Well it is a FREE printable download for you to use to help organize your Framelits and Edgelits too!

Here is a picture of my cases ready to go. (I’ve had to print mine out in blue since my printer is being difficult and I’m afraid ready to give up on me, but the file has been saved in black for you, so no worries.)

I’ve also created a FREE Edgelits Oraganization Printables for you too. I like to keep all my Edgelits together for right now, but you may want to have a separate case for them – so I’ve created them both ways. Just print the pages you want.

New Catalog Organization

Ok you’ve seen the NEW 2013-2014 Catalog now and you’re wondering how to organize your craft area, right? Well I’ve got some wonderful items to help make this easier for you.

First you may have notice that there is no accessory index in the back again. Since this is a must for me (I’m old school I guess) I created one for you.

I also have created a quick reference for the Designer Series Paper. I like this chart and keep it handy when I’m looking for the colors in the Designer Series Paper. I know that Stampin’ Up! now lists the colors included on the tag board included in the package but this just works better for me than pulling out the pack when I get ready to create.

Labels – boy these make things so easy. I like to have everything consistent so with the NEW 2013-2014 Catalog including the Color Refresh this year I have created new labels for my hanging file folders, Refill drawers, and my Classic Ink Pads.

I know that the Classic Ink Pads now come with these great labels stuck to the bottom for us to use (which I love), but I like to also know the Color Collection so I still use them in addition to the ones already included. No OCD here, right? LOL

And for your Card Stock I’ve created these labels. I use them on my hanging file folders in my drawers.

Spring Catalog Designer Series Paper Chart

Did you know that our Designer Series Paper now has the colors that are used in the paper printed right on the tag board insert? Well they do. Stampin’ Up! has heard our requests and added this for our convenience. With this addition to our Designer Series Paper I figured you wouldn’t want the chart anymore. However, I’ve had several requests recently for my 2013 Spring Catalog Designer Series Paper Chart. It was great to hear that this is an important resource for some of you. I know I still use it as one of my organizational items since the chart puts all the information in one place.

Organizational Skills

Have you ever laid something down and then minutes later not been able to find it again? I know I do all the time. I wasn’t like this pre-children – so it must be because I’ve got are teenagers right, and not because of my age!

I’ve just spent the past 30 minutes hunting for a stamp set that I used yesterday and can’t find it. I’m sure I left it on my desk where I planned on using it next. I’m thinking this is my cosmic pay back for feeling rather smug yesterday for reaching my goals and being on schedule with things.

Grrrr… Well I got to thinking that I can’t be the only one with a craft room that looks like it exploded, right? So I thought I would share with you a photo of what my room looks like.

Keep in mind I’m normally very good at organizing my spot after I’m done creating but with learning new technology, events, and my daughter’s competition band season in full swing I just haven’t been home much and haven’t gotten things done like I normally do. Sound familiar?

Be prepared – if you are a little compulsive, here’s your warning – don’t look!

Getting Organized with the 2012 Holiday Catalog

Today I’m going to share with you one of my organizing items that I have put together for our new 2012-2013 Holiday Catalog that was introduced August 1^st. The Holiday Catalog has some wonderful new products in it I think you’ll love and with the new bundles and suites it’s a great way to jump off your holiday projects.

Here is my Designer Series Paper Chart. The chart is an easy reference for you to have and shows all the card stock colors contained in each Designer Series Paper along with some of the specialty papers, etc.

Getting Organized

Today I’m going to share with you some organizing items that I have put together for our new 2012-2013 Catalog that was introduced June 1^st. It has some wonderful new products in it I think you’ll love. Check out my Catalog Luau Launch Party coming up soon by clicking HERE – I’d love for you to come and get some of the FREE goodies.

The first item is my Designer Series Paper Chart. The chart is an easy reference for you to have and shows all the card stock colors contained in each Designer Series Paper.

Next, I have updated the labels for our Classic Ink Pads and Hanging File Folders for all our card stock. I always love to have things easy to find and these work great. All you need to have is sheet of Avery Labels #8160 and Word Window Punch to punch out your Classic Ink Pad Labels. Although, with our new ink pads this is really no longer needed since labels are included with our NEW Firm Foam Classic Ink Pads for you. I just thought some of you may like the consistency.

I also like to use them on my little tool holding drawers where I store my Stampin’ Sponges, Reinker and Sponge Daubers. I like to use Avery Labels # 5267 for my hanging file folder labels since they are clear and I just put them on a small piece of card stock so you can see the color through it.

Getting Organized with the New 2012-2013 Catalog

Did you notice that the new 2012-2013 Catalog doesn’t have an Accessory Index? This is something that I use all the time since I have CRS. That simply means I can’t remember stuff according to my kids. It’s a running joke in our house since my teenagers seem to have it too. I notice it a lot when I mention the chores they haven’t done – seems they can’t remember me telling them to do them. Sound familiar?

Anyhow…. If you’re like me and use the index for a handy reference so you don’t have to remember what page things are on – here is a handy PDF that you can print and add to your catalog to make things easier.
