Team Time Fun with the Mini & more

Yesterday was our monthly team meeting – we gathered, shared, and stamped together. So today I thought I’d share some of the wonderful projects that everyone has made. I’ll start with the New products from the Mini.

This first card uses the fun little Nuts about Squirrels stamp set (156475). These little guys are adorable.

The pop of color has been added with our Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper (155841). If you haven’t check out this pack of paper, you’ll want to – the colors and patterns are great for fall projects.

This stamp set is so adorable in fact I’ll be offering a card class soon using this set! Watch for more information coming soon. You can sign up my Newsletter email list so you’ll get the information right to your inbox.

And this next card was created with the Joyful Life (156529) found on page 63 of the Mini along with the Layering Circle Dies (151770).

The fun pattern paper is from our Gingerbread & Peppermint Designer Series Paper (156313) pack and is perfect for this project.

Love movement cards? Then you’ll enjoy this next card that uses the Give it a Whirl Dies (154336) along with the Great Tidings Bundle (156382) and is a definite wow card.

The die allows you to show more than just the one sentiment – an who doesn’t love movement cards?

The next few cards show off some of our wonderful nature inspired sets. This first card is monochromatic and is done in Pumpkin Pie. Quick and easy it uses our Daisy Garden Background stamp (155079) that has been teamed up with the sentiment from the Forever Fern stamp set (152559).

And how about this tent card that has been made using the Artistically Inked Bundle (155456)?

The Suite (155459) has wonderful gold foiling options too.

Soft and sweet this next card uses our Dandelion 3D Embossing folder (152953) and White Craft Ink to create this get well card.

It’s summer which always makes me think of the beach, so how about a card made with the Friends are Like Seashells stamp set (158203) for our next card?

Texture has been created for the backdrop using the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder (154309) and our Pearlescent Specialty Paper (154291). It’s simply elegant with all of it’s shimmer.

And last but not least an adorable little 3d box using the Party Puffins stamp set (155054) done in Polished Pink.

Quiet Meadow

The name and images of the Quiet Meadow Bundle makes me think of my childhood and walking through the fields and meadows around my childhood home. Flowers of all kinds, milkweed pods and even Monarch Butterflies came and went through the seasons. My father wanted to have a tree farm and so had bought a large piece of property out in the country with a creek that ran through it. Our home sat on the farthest corner of the property up on a hill, the only spot really out of the flood plain. But that creek made the area rich with black soil and the perfect place to plant his trees on the other side of the property. Unfortunately my father passed before realizing his dream, but those wonderful childhood memories remain.

The Quiet Meadow Bundle includes both images in detail and silhouette.

It also contains some heartfelt sentiments for you too. Check out these wonderful cards made with this set. These first two use our new In Colors and create a lovely monochromatic card using silhouette images.

The butterfly was cut out of our beautiful Pale Papaya, In Color Shimmer Vellum (155616). If you haven’t seen this Shimmer Vellum in person it is simply beautiful with it’s translucent shimmer. Speaking of which, this next card adds the Fresh Freesia Shimmer Vellum to create an over lay of the collage background on this next card.

And how about a fun fold? This next card uses the Hand Penned Designer Series Paper (155499) to create this soft and lovely floral card.

And this next card uses our Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper (155807) and creates a shadow effect with the dies on this opening flap by cutting a second image out of our Evening Evergreen Card stock and just off setting the image a bit.

It contains a lovely little surprise when open with the Shimmer Vellum butterfly.

And last but not least here is a quick and easy 3d project, using the dies and a bit of sponging.

This sweet little note pad uses the inspiring sentiment from the Hand Penned Stamp set (155070) along with the coordinating Hand Penned Designer Series Paper (155499) to inspire the color choices.

Turtle Friends

I love turtles and find them fascinating, always looking for their little heads peeking out of the water or sunning themselves on the log when at a pond. I think this love for turtles was instilled in me with my first pet turtle as a young child. Remember, the little turtles that you placed in the clear plastic “pond” with a little palm tree in the middle? I’m afraid my little guy tended to be an escape artist. lol

So when I saw the Turtle Friend Bundle (155819) I immediately fell in love with it’s cute images and all occasions sentiments.

The fact that the bundle includes a punch makes it quick and easy to use too! Check out these projects made with the bundle. This first card done in Bumblebee and Old Olive uses the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder (149643) as a back drop.

The Tailor Made Tags Dies (155563) highlight these cute little duo. And this next monochromatic card is done in our new Soft Succulent.

It uses our fun 2021- 2023 In Color Shimmer Vellum (155616) for a pop of shimmer behind the turtle. This paper is awesome and comes in all 5 In Colors, and it is great for overlaying on another layer like this project does.

This next project is a fun fold that swings up the little turtle up for display.

Created using our Simply Elegant Specialty Designer Series Paper (155761) and Evening Evergreen the turtle has a shinny shell that was created by adding our Shimmery Crystal Effects (150892) and that shine is also carried over in the Genial Gems (155500) that are used on the sentiment panel. Cute right?

The final project I’m sharing with you today is a treat bag made with our Ombre Gift Bags (155479) filled with some turtle chocolate treats.

Check out the adorable little flower, it’s our Loose Flower Flourishes (155808) that come in 3 of our 2021-2023 In Colors. This accessory is perfect for using with our In Colors since they are a great way to bring trendy colors to your stamping.

Hats Off

Have you seen the Hats Off Bundle (158361) in the Annual Catalog on page 47? It’s a great option for the dudes in our lives with its sentiments and images. The baseball cap is something that most mean have in their closets, or in my son’s case his prize possession. When he gets a new cap like he did yesterday, he’ll give it special attention until it is worn in just right. I guess you could call his hats, the guy version of shoes. lol

So today I’ll share 3 projects with you highlight this fun stamp set and coordinating dies. This first card is done in Crumb Cake and Early Espresso and packs a lot of texture.

It not only uses the Tasteful Texture 3D Embossing Folder (152718) but also the lovely Early Espresso 1/4″ Faux Suede Trim (152472).

Next up –

This lovely card using the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (152494) Misty Moonlight, Smoky Slate and Real Red. Check out the bat it was made using the Suit & Tie Dies (154322). Yep, simply flip that tie upside down and you’ve got a great bat! This card not only has the wonderful woven texture from the Designer Series Paper but also adds some stitching with the Stitched Rectangle Dies (151820). The Smoky Slate layer was dry embossed with the Bark 3D Embossing Folder (155431) for even more texture.

And finally a fun 3D project using the Bundle (158361) It’s quick and simple to make

The colors chosen for the topper were taken right off the package of gum too, which has been slid into one of our 6×8″ Cellophane Bags (102210). A quick and simple gift for that little slugger in our life.

Timeless Tropical 3d Treats

With the summer time fun starting soon I wanted to share these fun tropical theme treats with you that I received during my Incentive Trip swaps. Such fun for graduation or even a pool party.

This first one hold a couple of Ghirardelli squares which is always a popular treat. I love the sparkle this treat holder has as it uses our Rainbow Glimmer Paper (153056) for some extra pizzazz!

This treat has been made with our Acetate Card Boxes (150428). Simply cut them in half and you’ve got two treat boxes that are really sturdy treat. Pop it into our Printed Gusseted Cellophane Bags (151312) and tie it up with some ribbon they’re easy to take with you too.

And this next treat uses our NEW Simply Classic Treat Boxes (155566)

A little bit of ribbon creates a fun pull tab to open the box. This little box holds quite a bit too.

And my final share for the day is a fun Ombre Gift Bag (155479)

Filled with a fun face mask to help rest & relax during the summer holidays.

Simply cut your Soft Succulent card stock to the width of the punch and then punch one end. Fold it as desired and then decorate. See quick and easy! This treat holds a Ghirardelli square, which is always a popular with my group.

Oval Occasions Bath Tea Holder

I love to create homemade recipes for pampering myself at home, and last fall I found this fun Lavender Tub Tea that sooths the skin and creates a luxurious bath experience to go along with my sugar scrubs I’ve shared with you in the past. So I knew I wanted to whip some up to share with my Team for their day of pampering at my Peak Princess event. Here is what I came up with.

A quick and simple packaging idea to hold this special little tub tea bag. And while I was thinking lilacs instead of lavender when I designed it, don’t ask me why, I think the purples from the Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper goes lovely with the tea bags any how. And you can get a ton of holders out of just one package of paper, making it perfect for sharing with friends.

I’ve created a quick video for you so you can see how I made them.

Oval Occasions Bath Tea Holder Video Tutorial

And great news the tub tea is soooo easy to make with ingredients you may even have around the house. This herbal tea is packed with herbs, salts and other skin soothing treatments creating a luxurious bath when steeped. It’s a perfect way to warm up and relax during the cold winter months. When you’re done simply remove the tea bag – no messy clean up!

Lavender Oatmeal Tub Tea Recipe

2 cups Epson Salts

2 heaping Tablespoons Dried Lavender

15-20 drops Lavender Essential Oil

1 cup oatmeal

1 cup powdered milk

9 Extra Large (Size 4) tea filters

Grind the oatmeal in a food processor or blender to get a coarse powder.

Mix the Epson salts, dried lavender and essential oils in a large bowl and stir. Then add in the powdered milk and ground oatmeal. Mix well. Fill your tea bags with about 1/3-1/2 cup of mixture and seal as desired.

I did find that you want to make sure to place this little gift into a cello bag (102210) or Clear Envelope (102619) – It helps fragrance from the dried Lavender and Essential Oil last longer it also helps keep things cleaner too.

And of course it never hurts to have a printable PDF tutorial. This one not only includes a supply list and my step by step instructions. It also has the recipe and labels all in one handy document making it easy to reference again and again.

Team Time Fun

Today’s projects were all created by my team for our last swap. So today I thought I’d share them with you.

This first card uses a Arrow Flap Gate Fold and the Hey Girlfriend stamp set (154516).

The Flower & Field Designer Series Paper (Sale-a-bration 155223) and Best Year stamp set (152568) were used to create interest for the back drop of this cute little image.

And this next card uses the Friendly Flamingo (154386) stamp set and Flamingo Dies (154313) for this tropical themed birthday card.

This little flamingo is so cute and with just a bit of sponging makes an impact. And if you like both did you know you can save 10% when you purchase the Bundle (156212)?

Of course everyone loves a gift box, this next project is a 3d Chocolate bar holder using the Love You Always Specialty Designer Series Paper (154280).

And here is another 3d project using the Heartfelt stamp set (151417) for the little sentiment that wraps around the rose bud. Wanda shared with us how she made them for the Caring with Cards program for our local elementary school this month. I think the staff are really going to enjoy this little treat!

And finally a lovely Valentine, change out the sentiment and it would make a lovely anniversary or wedding card too.

This card uses the Meant to Be stamp set (148626) and Mine Be Stitched Dies (151814) to create this soft sweet card filled with love.

Oval Occasions Easter Treat

Yesterday I shared with you a fun little treat holder and today I wanted to share my Easter version with you.

This treat holder is sooo easy to make with a few score lines and the Oh So Ombre Designer Series paper is perfect for this project since it comes in 6×6 and requires no cutting! And even better you get 12 sheets of each pattern so you can make 48 from one pack of paper!
