Creating with Card Sketches

Today I’ve got a quick and easy card for you that I created with my Card Sketch #6. I began sharing this resource with you a couple of years ago already and I really love having these sketches handy to inspire me for quick and simple cards.

I love the All Aflutter Bundle (167570) since it uses a coordinating punch and I’ve included a quick tip in my video tutorial today for perfect punching every time in case you’re having issues with lining them up.

I’ve used the NEW In Color Hydrangea Hue for this card since it is simply beautiful and right on trend along with the fun Bloom Boutique Specialty Designer Series Paper (167637) with it’s fun little patterns and sprinkling of gold foil for the back drop. After all aren’t those little flowers perfect for this card?

Want to see how I created it? Here is a quick Video Tutorial for you along with the PDF for the Card Sketch too!

And if you like to use my Card Sketches or check them out – I’ve got you covered. Here is my PDF for the Card Sketch I’ve used for this card. The thing I love about sketches is you can use them in landscape or portrait depending on your stamp set or need.

Beautifully Ordinary All Aflutter

Do you love butterflies? If so you’ll love the All Aflutter Bundle (167570) found in our May-August Mini.

And if you love punches like I do you’ll love this bundle too!

Today’s card teams up the All Aflutter Bundle (167570) with the Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Series Paper (167553) which has a great variety of patterns allowing you to create all kind of cards and projects that have completely different designs to them simply by switching out the paper. You’ll see this paper popping up in projects I’m sharing over the next few weeks.

Today’s card teams up the strips and black and white pattern as a back drop.

It also uses the Lazy Daisy 3D Embossing Folder (Online Exclusive 167196) as a background for this project giving it lots of texture and interest. A bit of Wink of Stella Glitter Brush (141897) adds some shine and the Array of Dots (167559) a fun pop of color and shine.

I love the fact these butterflies are not stamped in a traditional neutral like black, instead they are stamped in Pretty Peacock that feels softer and looks great with the color combination used for the card. How about you?
