Golden Glow All Aflutter

Butterflies, who doesn’t love to see them flittering across the flower tops in the yard? Today’s card gives you that feel of summer wonder and watching butterflies.

Done in our NEW In Color, Golden Glow this card highlights our beautiful Bloom Boutique Specialty Designer Series Paper (167637) that has a lovely gold foil element. This paper also highlights our In Color Collection for 2026-2028 making it a perfect choice for monochromatic cards like this.

Circles from the Spotlight on Nature Dies (Online Exclusive 163580) were used to cut the Designer Series Paper and sentiment. Tons of texture was added to the background with our Lazy Daisy 3D Embossing Folder (Online Exclusive 167196) and a “pop” of color was added with our cute little 2026-2028 In Color Butterflies (167656) that also come in all 5 colors.

Assortments like these In Color Butterflies and Designer Series Paper are a quick and easy way to freshen up your color pallet on a budget too.

Creating with Card Sketches

Today I’ve got a quick and easy card for you that I created with my Card Sketch #6. I began sharing this resource with you a couple of years ago already and I really love having these sketches handy to inspire me for quick and simple cards.

I love the All Aflutter Bundle (167570) since it uses a coordinating punch and I’ve included a quick tip in my video tutorial today for perfect punching every time in case you’re having issues with lining them up.

I’ve used the NEW In Color Hydrangea Hue for this card since it is simply beautiful and right on trend along with the fun Bloom Boutique Specialty Designer Series Paper (167637) with it’s fun little patterns and sprinkling of gold foil for the back drop. After all aren’t those little flowers perfect for this card?

Want to see how I created it? Here is a quick Video Tutorial for you along with the PDF for the Card Sketch too!
