The summer makes me think of time at the lake as a child. Watching the boats go by and the waves come in. I miss Lake Michigan and the easy drive to beach and the feel of driving down Lake Shore Drive as a teenager with friends in a convertible and the wind blowing my hair. Or the fireworks on the 4th with all those boats out on the water under the bursts of color. This first card uses the Dies to create a fun that flips open using the butterfly die that is designed to do just that!
Making this card so easy, simply line it up on the score line and run it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss. Done in shades of Balmy Blue and Azure Afternoon it uses some simple stamping and a bit of the Blender Brush to add some color to the embossed card stock.
And this next card is a fun fold called the 3 Vertical Panel Front Card.
The card is created with simple scores and cuts, folds flat for mail, and stands up for display.
Some of the iridescent Itty Bitty Bokeh Mix Embellishments (164618) adds a bit of shine to the project as they catch the light. Fold the butterflies’ wings a bit for a look of butterflies in flight.

to set the scene for this winter greeting. Done in non traditional colors of Blushing Bride, Poppy Parade and Early Espresso. And want a wow card? This next card teams up the Frozen Edges stamp set (Last Chance 164318) with the Sparkling Snowflakes Tag Topper Punch (162164).
It uses Night of Navy, Basic Gray, and Crumb Cake and it’s a fun fold.
Open the punched sentiment panel and see the lovely snowflakes from the inside panel. then open the card and you have a spot for your sentiment and signature.

It uses the dies to create teeth for the mouth

It’s easy to use for simple monochromatic cards since it has built in shading or adding color. Take a look at this first card that is stamped in Crumb Cake Classic Ink and uses just a bit of Lost Lagoon to add color to the shepherd.
Or this next card that chooses to add color to the full image.
Simple stamping has been used along with some fussy cutting for the shepherd. And a simple slit and scoring creates the pop out to hold the image. The star shines with another bit of gold found in our accessory, Blooming Pearls (162238).
Wow, right? This set is a classic that you’ll be reaching for over and over again in your holiday project.

Father’s Day is right around the corner so today I thought I’d share some wonderful cards to celebrate those Dads in our lives. The Trusty Tools Stamp Set (163274) includes great all occasions sentiments along with
sentiments for Dad in addition it has a set of Trusty Tools Dies (162722) that coordinates and gives you even more options.
This first card made with the set uses the die to create a pegboard background and is done in Real Red, Blueberry Bushel and Gray Granite. The word Dad has been stamped and cut out with Paper Snips and Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gems (161288) were added to recreate the pegs they hang from. For a more nature look this next card uses the Country Woods Designer Series Paper (163393)
to create a backdrop for the tools and sentiment. A bit of Baker’s Twine Essential Pack (155475) wrapped around the layered panel adds a bit more color and texture. And for a final card today using this stamp set a simple thank you card.
How about turning our eyes to the sky with this next card? The Take to the Sky Suite Collection (163832) includes everything you need to create wonderful projects with it’s shades of blue. The Adventurous Sky Bundle (163447) makes me think of my step father who took flying lessons when I was in high school. I was so proud of him when he was able to fly solo!

can be used to hold a sentiment or even a gift card

The background has been dry embossed with the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder (160766) and Early Espresso Classic Ink has been sponged across the texture to highlight it.
