NEW 2014 – 2015 Annual Catalog Organizational Items

Its that time of year again! Now that the NEW 2014-2015 Annual Catalog has gone live and if you already have your copy you want to get organized, right?

Well I know I love to organize my crafting space periodically and a new catalog is a great time to do it.  So today I’ll be sharing some of the items that I use to organize my crafting space.

First let me say, if you don’t have your 2014 – 2015 Annual Catalog yet, contact me by email at stampwithjini@gmail.com to learn how to get yours! You’ll want your own copy of this catalog since it has some wonderful NEW products!

Ok – here it goes. The first item I love to have are labels. Lots of labels for everything. You see I’m a bit OCS as my friend JoAnn says – for those of you not familiar with the term that’s Obsessive, Compulsive, Stamper! LOL

These card stock labels will help you organize your paper drawers. They can be printed on Avery labels 5195, or the equivalent of that label.

These next labels I use to label my ink pads and drawers or anything else I want to use them for. They can be printed on Avery labels 5160 and punched out using our Word Window Punch.

They fit nicely on the end of your ink pads so that you’ve got a label on both sides. I also use them on my storage for daubers, sponges, and refills. (You can click HERE to see a video of how I store things.)

The last item I’m going to share with you today is a reference chart for the Designer Series Paper. Although our Designer Series Paper now has the colors listed in every package I like to have a quick reference chart on my desk that shows me all the colors at a glance.

Stop by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing some more of my organizational items with you.

Luau Beach Bag Tutorial

Here is a cute little Luau Beach Bag treat holder that I made for everyone who attended my Luau Catalog Launch last weekend. If you forgot yours – don’t worry I’ll be tucking it in with your order.

I thought that the In Colors this year went perfectly with a beach theme so I pulled out my NEW In Color Collection Designer Series Paper Stack (item 130136). The colors are so yummy – they remind me of the summer or sherbet, how about you? And don’t you just love the new patterns? The chevron in particular is right on trend and I thought was perfect for this little bag.

And if you haven’t already seen it you’re going to fall in love with the new 3/8″ Ruffle Stretch Trim that comes in all 5 In Colors this year! Isn’t it just too stinking cute? I’m finding I’m reaching for it all the time to use in my projects.

I had a lot of fun making these little treats that contain 2 pieces of chocolate for everyone. So without further ado here is my Luau Beach Bag Tutorial Video.

Spring Catalog Designer Series Paper Chart

Did you know that our Designer Series Paper now has the colors that are used in the paper printed right on the tag board insert? Well they do. Stampin’ Up! has heard our requests and added this for our convenience.  With this addition to our Designer Series Paper I figured you wouldn’t want the chart anymore. However, I’ve had several requests recently for my 2013 Spring Catalog Designer Series Paper Chart. It was great to hear that this is an important resource for some of you. I know I still use it as one of my organizational items since the chart puts all the information in one place.

So, although this is a little bit late, here it is my 2013 Spring Catalog Designer Series Paper Chart.

Getting Organized with the New 2012-2013 Catalog

Did you notice that the new 2012-2013 Catalog doesn’t have an Accessory Index? This is something that I use all the time since I have CRS. That simply means I can’t remember stuff according to my kids. It’s a running joke in our house since my teenagers seem to have it too. I notice it a lot when I mention the chores they haven’t done – seems they can’t remember me telling them to do them. Sound familiar?

Anyhow…. If you’re like me and use the index for a handy reference so you don’t have to remember what page things are on – here is a handy PDF that you can print and add to your catalog to make things easier.
