My name is Jini Merck and I'm a Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator. I love being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and friends. For me, helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people in your life. I live in Clarkesville which is in the North Georgia Mountains with my husband and two children. Although my family keeps me busy I enjoy the creativity of stamping and crafts and the fellowship stamping brings into my life. Spending time creativing cards and gifts for friends and family has been one of my favorite hobbies over the years.

Fun, Colorful Card using the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper

I had my team meeting earlier this month and today I’m sharing a couple of the cards that were swapped. Each month my team creates and shares a project with each other, this is called a swap. They are lots of fun and we get to share what we are making.

This first swap uses the Designer Series Paper to create a fun colorful card.

The little letters have been cut from the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper (161640) stack, do you see it on the top row?

And the fun colorful background on the card front is from the Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper (161192). It’s also been used to cover the envelope flap. Change up the letters and you can create all kinds of cards. Fun, right?

This second card uses the Paper Pumpkin Add On

This set of cards and envelopes is great with the Perched in a Tree Stamp set like this card uses or any nature geared stamp set or dies.

Sweet Songbird Note of Thanks Tutorial

Today’s card uses the Sweet Songbirds stamp set (158721) and while it is a quick and easy fun fold it uses some bold color to really make it pop.

Done in Blueberry Bushel and Tahitian Tide it’s bright and cheerful. And while this stamp set has a coordinating Songbird Builder Punch (158726) giving it even more versatility this card is done with simple stamping. My daughter is a music teacher so I’m always creating thank you cards for her and figured this one will work well for her thank you cards that she’ll need for band camp this month. Sweetest Cherries

Since I shared a couple of Hello Kiwi cards yesterday, it got me thinking about the Sweetest Cherry stamp set (158711)

which has not only great images and sentiments but also a coordinating punch making it a fun set to work with. Not only does the Cherry Builder Punch (158716) work with the stamps but it is also is great on it’s own.

Take a look at these fun two cards that use these products.

This first card uses the stamped images along with the punch. The cherry has been stamped in Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist for a sweet little look. The checks behind the cherry uses our Pecan Pie Classic Ink that has been stamped off for a lighter look. A wonderfully bold look. And this next card has a completely different feel to it.

This time Cherry Cobbler was used to stamp the cherries and Shaded Spruce Card stock was used for a bold look for the stems and leaves. The Black & White Gingham Ribbon (156485) adds a bit of contrast and texture to the project.

Makes you think about wanting to eat some sweet juicy cherries? I love Bing Cherry season and always think of my dad and those long summer days on my youth when I see them in the store during cherry season.

Hello Kiwi

Kiwi, do you remember the first time you had one of these funny little fruits? It’s not one that I grew up with and wasn’t very sure about it in the beginning. While I enjoyed them when I was out, they were a lot of work to cut, but now that I know how to peel them and get them out of their skins easily I enjoy them frequently. Have you tried the gold ones? Yum.

Today’s cards use the Hello Kiwi stamp set (161258) and focus on these sweet little tropical fruits. The images have been teamed up with the birthday sentiment.

This first card uses our bright cheerful In Colors Sweet Sorbet and Parakeet Party. They have been stamped and then some texture was added with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder (154317). For a bit of shine the Parakeet Party 1/8″ Metallic Woven Ribbon (159196) was added.

This next card uses the stripe and splatter patterns from the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper (161640). The kiwi were stamped using the Lemon Lime Twist Classic Ink this time and the Bubble Bath sentiment layer was popped up to add some depth.

A Bit of white Baker’s Twine from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack (155475) adds a bit of interest too.

Sea Turtle

Do you love the sand, water, and sun? Or a day at the beach? The images from the Sea Turtle stamp set (160500) remind me of our last vacation with our daughter and looking for Sea Turtles on the beach. We finally found some during out last couple of days.

They weren’t exactly what I expected as they laid there sunning themselves, but pretty cool just the same. Today’s card was made using the stamp set and a little spring so the turtle actually bounces around making it a pretty cool card.

The card base is Wild Wheat, which is one of our 2023 In Colors it’s been teamed up with Old Olive and Soft Sea Foam which has been used for the turtle. Of course the stamp off method has been used to create different shades on both the card front and the ocean panel. The little fish have been stamped using Pool Party and a bit of color has been added using the Blending Brushes (153611) to give the water movement. and of course our 2023-2025 In Color Dots (161620) add a bit of shine to the project.

Hello Ladybug Pop Up Card Tutorial

It’s Friday and that means another fun tutorial. Today’s card is a 3d card using the adorable little Hello Ladybug stamp set (157693) and Ladybug Builder Punch (157698)

A cute and fun card that is bright and cheerful since it uses the Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper (161449) that is sure to make anyone smile. Haven’t seen the Hello Ladybug stamp set (157693)?

This stamp set has some wonderful all occasions sentiments in it.

Another fun Next Destination Card

Today’s card uses the Next Destination stamp set (161427) that I shared with you yesterday for the punch art card. This set uses the Stylish Shapes Dies (159183) and a strip of Crumb Cake Card stock to create the strip of film.

It also uses the same die for the images. I just love how the color has been added with our Stampin’ Blends to highlight the different sections of the different images. It really makes them pop! A quick and easy strip with the sentiments finishes off this fun card.
