My name is Jini Merck and I'm a Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator. I love being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and friends. For me, helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people in your life. I live in Clarkesville which is in the North Georgia Mountains with my husband and two children. Although my family keeps me busy I enjoy the creativity of stamping and crafts and the fellowship stamping brings into my life. Spending time creativing cards and gifts for friends and family has been one of my favorite hobbies over the years.

School is starting here in North Georgia and so I’ve been busy whipping up some treats for the teachers and staff at the school. These little treats are quick and easy and hold just a couple of Nuggets, so they are a great way to show a bit of appreciation or treat someone.

Crafting with You

Crafting, it’s been a big part of my life since childhood. From learning cross stich samplers as a child with my mother, Brownie activities, Summer Camp, and school Home Ec classes in middle school, art classes and now stamping. I’ve always loved to learn and create. How about you?

So when I saw the Crafting with You Bundle (161226) I could see the possibilities of creating projects and cards for my friends who also love being creative. Check out these lovely cards made with the set.

This first card uses color blocking in our new colors, Azure Afternoon, Bubble Bath, Lemon Lime Twist, and Lemon Lolly to create a bright cheerful card using the embroidery hoop. Don’t you love the little metallic shine on the scissors that has been done with our Clear Wink of Stella (141897)? Or how about this second card for us Paper Crafters?

A section of our Grid Paper (130148) has been used as a backdrop for the card. Fun right? Love crafting?

Another Fun Birds Eye View Card

Today’s card is a friendship card created with the Bird’s Eye View stamp set (161436) and it’s done in our new In Color Copper Clay.

I’m not sure why but this little bird with the glasses makes me think of school and the little caterpillar book I used to read to my children. Check out this lovely card

The card uses our fun Stampin’ Blends to color the image that has been stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black (132708/133456). The fun little piece of Copper Clay 3/8″ Textured Ribbon (161629) lays on top of the 2023-2025 In Color Collection Designer Series Paper (161646). And the fun little Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins (160387) add a bit of shine.

Cute right? What a great set for creating wonderful cards. Simply team it up with your favorite sentiments!

More Zany Zoo

My daughter just sent me a photo of her at the zoo, in front of a favorite spot in any zoo or wildlife area – the alligators of course. She grew up with the crockodile hunter, Steve Irwin and has always been fascinated with these reptiles. So today I share with you projects made with the cute little stamp set, Zany Zoo (161305). This stamp set is part of a Suite of Products that allows you easy coordination when making your projects.

This first card uses the little crock to create a fun cheerful card.

The block of Designer Series Paper is from the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper (161304) which has these great black & white patterns on one side. The bold Black & White Gingham Ribbon (156485) creates a fun border for this whimsical guy.

And this next card uses another of the black & white patterns – however this time it has been modified a bit with our Blending Brushes (153611) and a bit of Bubble Bath Classic Ink (161664/161670).

This card was inspired by the card you’ll see on page 46 of the Annual Catalog. The color pallet has been changed to a fun bold one and uses our Stampin’ Blends to color the little ballerina.

I think these whimsical little images are so much fun and I love the way the Designer Series Paper makes a great addition with all of the different things we love.

Wildlife Wonder

Today’s cards both use the Wildlife Wonder stamp set (157923). This set is filled with lovely DistINKtive images that are great for simply stamping along with some great sentiments that you can use all year round.

Sets like this one are also great for the men in our lives. Check out this first card that uses the owl image to create a wonderful birthday card.

Done in the rich colors of Pecan Pie and Lost Lagoon it uses the Countryside Corners Bundle (161472) to create the frame that highlights this image. A bit of detail was added to the owl with our Stampin’ Write Markers for the eyes and feathers.

Owls are pretty cool and I’ve found watching my high school classmates owl cam at her home in Texas a lot of fun these past 2 years. The other night she caught two of them on her bird bath. Technology can be so cool.

And these next two cards use the bear image which can definitely be found in my North Georgia back yard. This first card as been stamped with our NEW color, Pecan Pie

the Garden Green card stock background is embossed with our Fern 3D Embossing Folder (158804) and a bit of texture has been added with sponging and the 1/8″ stitched ribbon from the Ribbon Duo Combo Pack (161318).

It’s Taco Tuesday!

It’s taco Tuesday in our house so I thought I’d share this fun Taco Fiesta stamp set (160732) with you to celebrate this fun food day.

Isn’t this card cute? And the pun-ny little sayings are adorable too.

This card was stamped with our Memento Tuxedo Black (132708/133456) so that it could be colored with our Stampin’ Blends. The fun little set of Deckled Rectangle Dies (159173) to cut out the collage of food and then layered on Sweet Sorbet and the 2023-2025 In Color Collection Designer Series Paper (161646). Can you see the little dots? Those are our Classic Matte Dots (158146) that have been colored with our Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends (161661). Don’t you love all the different ways we can use our Blends? Make any white accessory and change it up!
