Waterfront Thank You Card Tutorial

Yesterday I found this tutorial that I was working on to share with you that got buried on my desk after my husband’s accident earlier this month. So today I thought I’d share it with you – never too late, right?

I stamped this card to send out as my Thank You last month. It uses one of my favorite sets, Waterfront. It’s got tons of images that can be combined for all kinds of cards!

Big Wishes & More

Birthdays are my biggest card making need consistent and the bold images in the Big Wishes stamp set makes them quick.

Check out these cards using the Big Wishes stamp set (146422/146425). This first one is done in our NEW 2018 In Color Blueberry Bushel (147138) and uses some of our 2018 In Color 6×6 Designer Series Paper Stack (146963).

 

And this next one uses Old Olive and our new Striped Scallops Embossing Folder (147188).

And speaking about Birthdays check out some more great sets used on these cards. This first one is done in Mint Macaron and uses the single stamp,  Birthday Wishes for You single (145739/145742)

It also uses our Pattern Party Decorative Masks (144103) and sponging to create the background. Quick and simple!

And this fun, bright card uses the Birthday Backgrounds (146443/146446) and Perennial Birthday (145757/145760) stamp sets.

Dandelion Wishes

If you haven’t already you’ll want to check out the stamp set Dandelion Wishes found on page 118 of our Annual Catalog. This set is filled with simple line images and sentiments using a beautiful font.

And folks can’t get enough of this set since you can do all kinds of techniques with it. Check out these lovely cards made with the set.

This first card uses a simple masking and sponge technique to create the band of color. The dandelion and sentiment are Heat Embossed with our Black Embossing Powder for a bit of texture and shine. Stunning!

And how about this final card done in black & white with a pop of red? Classic and elegant.  The sentiment is from our Kindness & Compassion (146726/146729) another set with beautiful fonts.

And don’t you love the edge? It is our Delicate Lace Edgelits Dies (147053).

Serene Garden

Today’s cards all use the Serene Garden stamp set and coordinating Garden Scene Framelits Dies. Perfect for quick and easy cards.

This first card  uses our NEW In Color Pineapple Punch (147141) for a pop of color along with the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls (146927). This pack pearls adds elegance to any project.

This next card uses an emboss resist technique. The image was Heat Embossed using our White Embossing Powder and then a Stampin’ Sponge was used to add the NEW Highland Heather Classic Ink (147103).

The little bird and sentiment are done in our NEW Gorgeous Grape – simple and striking.

And finally this last card is done in our Daffodil Delight and Old Olive.

Monochromatic Accented Blooms

With all the beautiful shades of color that we have monochromatic cards are more fun than ever. Check out these beautiful cards using the Accented Bloom stamp set from the Annual Catalog.

This first card is done in hues of blue

Two of our NEW colors – Blueberry Bushel (147138) and Balmy Blue (147105) are teamed up here with our 2018 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack (146963) and the Leaf Punch (144667).

And how about some  Highland Heather (147103) & Gorgeous Grape (147099)? These two purple hues seem to be fast favorites among my group and the Scattered Sequin Embossing Folder (145649) is lots of fun.

August Thank You’s & Tutorials

This month’s Thank You’s use a fun new technique using the Stampartaus called Circular Stamping. It’s a lot of fun to do and you can create this fun technique with just a few steps. Check out this card that I created for my stamping friends.

Peaceful Reflections

Do you ever look at a set and say hmmm. Not sure how to use that one? Well Peaceful Reflections was one of those for me, I just didn’t get it when I saw it during Prize Patrol at On Stage in April.

That is until I started seeing how it can be used And that is what I love about being a Demonstrator, sharing! Sharing with each other is what it’s all about. I quickly put it on my list of must haves. Flowers, water, dragonfly and even a hummingbird image is included!
