More Night Divine

Traditional holiday cards – what could be better than the O Holy Night Suite Collection (162012) to create those wonderful cards. And of course if you already have your cards done why not get this lovely suite of products and start your cards early for next year!

Yes, it’s that lovely and been extremely popular this fall. Check out these lovely cards using the products from the suite. This first card uses the Night Devine Bundle (161997), one of my favorites with the silhouette images.

The nativity is on a piece of the O Holy Night Designer Series Paper (161986) that has been cut out using the Deckled Circle Dies (162286). Basic Rhinestones Jewels (144220) dot the sky for a bit of shine. Love the sentiments found in the Night Devine Bundle (161997)? How about this next card using Very Vanilla and Night of Navy?

A bit of the Night of Navy & Gold Glittered Ribbon (162011) and a Adhesive Backed Star Trinkets (162010) make this card shine and a great card to mass produce for the holidays. And finally a card that has lots of texture in the background as it uses the Stars at Night Hybrid Embossing Folder & Dies (162006).

Done in traditional colors the sentiment has been punched out and layered using the Handmade Tag Punch (159690). To layer the sentiment simply cut the Night of Navy punched tag in half and adhere to the top and bottom of the sentiment as desired.

Wow, I can’t pick a favorite. Can you? As you can see this Suite of products is wonderful for creating great cards, you can see why it’s been flying off the shelf this fall.

Sparkling Snowflake Tutorial

Today’s card is quick and easy and contains a bit of shine too making it perfect for the holiday season.

This type of card is a favorite layout of mine since its great for making in large quantities as it’s a quick and easy layout. I’m using the Sparkling Snowflakes stamp set (162158) which is using a favorite winter image of mine – snowflakes! I can’t seem to resist a snowflake set lol.

I’ve teamed this image up with the lovely winter pattern from the Beary Christmas Designer Series Paper (162015) as it reminds me of those warm winter sweaters I had as a child and it’s got shades of blue too!

Rustic Crate for the holidays

What do you think of when you think of the holidays? For me one of the things is poinsettias, since every year they were a gift to family and friends and decorated our house and the local mall. Remember the poinsettia trees of the 70’s? So the Rustic Crate Bundle (162268) brings back those childhood memories of that bold pop of red again the cold snowy landscapes.

And of course, Frosty and the green house that contained those exotic plants, the poinsettia. lol

Today’s cards use the poinsettia to create lovely cards. This first one has a traditional feel with its Shaded Spruce and Cherry Cobbler color palet.

The lovely gingham check is from our Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper (161958). Don’t you love how these dies both cut and emboss their image? And the handle on the crate is a bit of our Natural 1/4″ Wavy Trim (161517). A bit of shine was added behind the crate with the Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots (159082). And this next card has a bit more contemporary feel to it since it uses the lovely Moody Mauve and Blackberry Bliss.

Once again a little shine has been added with the Simply Elegant Trim (155766) and interest has been added to the background with a bit of our Blending Brushes and splatter using our Water Painters (151298). Adding splatter like this is quick and easy to do simply pick up some diluted reinker and tap against your finger until you get the look you like. With a little bit of practice you can create different size splatter for your projects.

The Joy of Christmas

Have you seen the Joy of Christmas Suite (161983)? This Suite is filled with two wonderful bundles, the Joy of Noel Bundle (161967) and the Christmas Classics Bundle (161977).

It also has some great coordinating products to create with too! Check out today’s card using this suite of products. This first card uses simple stamping to create a lovely holiday card.

The holly has been colored with our Watercolor Pencils (161700)/Watercolor Pencils Asst 2 (149014) and a bit of the Metallic Enamel Effects (161610) has been used to add a bit of shimmer. I just love the way that the Wild Wheat Classic Ink gives the first impression of gold embossing!

And this next card uses the Joy of Noel Dies (161965) and our Loose Holly Gems & Sequins (161981) to continue the feel of music that the noel sentiment brings and works well with the Gold Foil Sheets (132622) used for the letters.

A couple of pieces of the Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper (161958) pulls it all together.

And how about this last card? Done in Garden Green, gold, and Basic White?

The Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder (156392) has been used for the backdrop along with the Christmas Classics Die Cuts (161976) that creates the sentiment from the Christmas Classics stamp set (161970) focal point. Add a bit of the More Dazzle Specialty Paper (161749) behind it and you’ve got a lovely traditional card.

More Wishes for the Holidays

Big Bold sentiments and tons of combinations to create with that’s what More Wishes stamp set (162324) is all about!

Check out these fun color cards that are made using this set.

This first card uses our fun Melon Mambo & Granny Apple Green Foil Sheets (161953) and Merry Bold & Bright Designer Series Paper (161945) to create a cheerful backdrop for the sentiment. A bit of shimmer has been added with the gorgeous White 1/2″ Iridescent Ribbon (161955).

This next card steps up the game with our Stampin’ Cut & Emboss.

The Tiny Christmas Tree Die (162114) and Deckled Circle Dies (162286) and a fun bit of texture and interest to this simple stamping card. And of course some shimmer has been added again with the gorgeous ribbon and Adhesive Backed Glitter Sequins (162029).

Light the Sky

Do you like to send New Years cards during the holidays rather than Christmas cards? If so the Light the Sky stamp Bundle (162296) might be a great choice.

The Light the Sky stamp set (162289) has some great all occasions sentiment too that can be used year round. Check out these cards that I received using this bundle of products.

This first card uses the Light the Sky Dies (162295) to create a negative image that is backed with our Gold Foil Sheets (132622). Quick and easy to do the Night of Navy & Gold Glittered Ribbon (162011) carries the festive gold look and draws your eye to the sentiment.

This next card uses heat embossing and our Metallic Embossing Powders (155555)

A bit of Simply Elegant Trim (155766) is looped beneath the sentiment that has been heat embossed using the white embossing powder from the Basic Embossing Powders (155554).

Imagine this set using patriotic colors for summer or fun colors to recreate the colors of fireworks that are your favorite!

Graceful Deer

Quick and simple. That’s what the Graceful Deer Background Stamp (162084) means to me. One of the great things about big stamps like this is it’s a ready made card front. Just add sentiment of your choice and go!

I’m sure like me, you have a lot of memories of scenes like this. Just yesterday I saw a couple of deer somewhere I didn’t expect. Thankfully, I was luck and they didn’t dart out in the road. Here in my neck of the woods deer are a common sight along the road and in our yards. They tend to enjoy “pruning” our bushes when it’s a harsh winter.

Today’s card is done in shades of copper.

Copper Clay has been used for the card base and for a softer look Very Vanilla has been chosen. The stamped image has been heat embossed using the Metallic Embossing Powders (155555) and the sentiment has been die cut and a fun little Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins (161627) adds a bit of texture and shine.

A lovely little thank you card for this fall or winter don’t you think?

Night Divine

The Night Divine Bundle (161997) has been extremally popular this fall and so I thought I’d share some wonderful cards that use this Bundle along with other items from the O Holy Night Suite Collection (162012).

Done in a classic Blue and Gold this cards won’t disappoint and pack a wow factor. Check out this first card that uses simple stamping to create a lovely card.

The star from the Stars at Night stamp set (162000) has been stamped in Crushed Curry in the background after first stamping off and then the sentiment has been stamped in Night of Navy over the top. So simple but so striking. And of course a little bit of texture has been added with the Deckled Rectangle Dies (159173) and Night of Navy & Gold Glittered Ribbon (162011). And this next card uses the Gold Foil Sheets (132622) with the Night Devine Dies (161996) to create a lovely card.

The lovely Adhesive Backed Star Trinkets (162010) add a bit more shine at the top of the stable. And finally this next card is not only a beautiful card, but it also holds a little surprise inside.

Once again the Gold Foil Sheets (132622), Adhesive Backed Star Trinkets (162010), and Night of Navy & Gold Glittered Ribbon (162011) have been used. But theses is also some of the Gold & Silver 1/8″ Trim Combo Pack (Online Exclusive 161633) is tucked behind the star to add another pop of shine.

Open the card and you’ll find a little pocket to hold a little something too.

All of these cards use the beautiful O Holy Night Designer Series Paper (161986). You’ll want to be sure to check this paper out as it has wonderful 12×12 scenes perfect for creating home decor projects too in addition to cards like this.

Night Divine Bridge Card Tutorial for the Holidays

Do you love to create holiday scenes when creating your cards for Christmas? The Night Divine Bundle (161997) and products from the O Holy Night Suite Collection (162012) make this an easy thing to do with it’s coordinating products to choose from. And of course this Suite is great for making home decor items too with it’s full 12×12 scenes found int the O Holy Night Designer Series Paper (161986).

Today’s fun fold, called a Bridge Card is a wonderful way to display this beautiful die cut Nativity scene.

The Night Devine Dies (161996) gives you the ability to create scenes in silhouette and the dies have lovely details built in to them. This Bridge Card also folds flat and slips into it’s envelope for easy mailing!
