It’s been another rainy day here in North Georgia, but while we have gotten almost another inch of rain today and over 6 inches already this month, we’ve been fairly lucky. As I was walking past my windows I just noticed all the mist across the fields, it was so pretty I thought I’d share a picture with you tonight.
All this rain makes me feel like its a fitting time to share some of the swaps I received using the Under My Umbrella Bundle of products that you can find in our January – June 2020 Mini Catalog on page 42.
This stamp set and it’s coordinating punch are great for all kind of occasions – check out the sentiments.
Cute right? And it has a coordinating punch too which is great for quick and easy projects.
Here are a couple of fun cards made with the bundle This first one is a fancy fold done in Gorgeous Grape.
And this second card uses our Petal Pink – so soft and pretty when teamed up with the So Saffron and Soft Suede.
This card uses a technique that we call paper piecing. Stamp your image onto the Designer Series Paper of your choice, in this case it’s the Bird Ballard (149592) from the Annual Catalog, then cut or punch out.
And finally this bright and bold card done with a wash of color for it’s back drop.
The umbrella has been done with paper piecing again, but this time using the See A Silhouette Designer Series Paper (149443). Aren’t techniques like this simply great? And how different this card looks from the one above it!

After watching the news last night and the horrible wild fires in Australia it got me thinking about all the people effected, the Australian Zoo, the late Steve Irwin, and his families work to save the animals. My daughter’s love of crocodiles began with the Crocodile Hunter as a child and she still can’t pass up an opportunity to see them. Anyhow I bet you wonder where I’m going with this, right? Well she had me watching the latest TV show (sorry I can’t remember what it was called) over Christmas break with her, which got me thinking about Koala Bears which naturally made me think of this adorable set in our January-June 2020 Mini Catalog filled with animal images.
I know that’s the long way around, it’s funny how we connect things in our thoughts, but I wanted to share this card with you today highlighting this little koala bear. Its such a fun card. I received in my recent swap and it shows just how cute this stamp set is!

Yesterday I shared a fun card that I made with you inspired by a demonstration at OnStage. (You can see my post HERE sharing videos and PDF for this project.)
Today I wanted to share my Technique Book with you.
When I started stamping I kept every card I made that used a technique so that I could remember how I created it. Not exactly the point of making a card, right? We should be sending them out!
So, this book is designed as a companion to my Classes and Team Training. It uses our Memories & More 6″ x 8″ Album and pages so it allows you to keep a little sample of the technique along with step by step instructions for that technique all in one handy place – So you can reach for them easily! Now I send those cards instead of hanging on to them and you can too!

Learning new things is always fun and during OnStage in November one of the presenters showed us a Reverse Die Cutting Technique which I couldn’t resist recreating with my team at our OnStage After Party.
This card not only use a fancy fold called the Double Point, it also uses a fun technique with our dies. It was definitely a wow moment at my table that afternoon. And since I know that if I don’t do something right away I’d forget the steps, I whipped up this project quickly.
