Team Fun & the Gilded Autumn Pumpkin Home Décor Project

This past weekend I gathered with my Team, The Blue Mountain Stampers for a special biannual event. This event allows us to gather and celebrate everyone’s accomplishments over the last 6 months. We have a special project, along with prizes, and appetizers. So today I thought I’d share our project that we made.

This project was a lot of fun to make and everyone’s turned out differently since they could decide on which patterns they wanted to use. Here is mine.

I really love the colors and patterns of the Gilded Autumn Suite of Products and so I couldn’t resist making a home décor item with them. I also really love the way the little swirls of copper ribbon finish off this project. They are so easy to make – I bet you are wondering how I made them too!

You’ll need a wooden skewer or dowel along with your heat tool and Heavy Spray Starch. Yep, that’s it! You’ll also need a bit of patience as you make them since it does require some dry time tho. I’m not sure how they would hold up outside, but since I’m planning on using this project inside my home I wasn’t worried about our heavy Georgia humidity of late.

Want to see how we made them? Here is a video for you.

I’ve also included a link for the pumpkins and PDF pattern on this Tutorial for you.

Want to make some of these too? Here is the information on the wooded pumpkins for you that I found on Amazon along with a PDF pattern for this pumpkin.

Beautiful Autumn

This Suite of products has been particularly popular with it’s set of 3 punches – it’s great for quick and easy projects too.

Check out these lovely cards made using the Beautiful Autumn Bundle (155189). This first card is sweet and simple perfect for #simplestamping and beginners as it uses a limited number of products.

Beautiful Autumn

Our Classic Ink Mint Macaron, Early Espresso and Cajun Craze were used for the stamping along with the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper for a bit of gold foil.

This next card uses the punches to punch the images from the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper. Soo easy!

Beautiful Autumn

The strip of Early Espresso down the center was embossed using the Tasteful Texture 3D Embossing Folder (152718) to add a bit of texture along with the stitched die to cut out the sentiment. Lovely.

And this final card is strikingly elegant in it’s simplicity. Once again texture was added to the Very Vanilla panel using the Tasteful Textured 3D Embossing Folder. The beautiful foil panel is then layered with some stitched squares and topped with the stamped images that have been colored with our Stampin’ Blends and punched out with the Autumn Punch Pack (153609).

Beautiful Autumn

A bit of the Metallic Ribbon (153553) and Acorn Trinkets (153552) make this card extra special.

What do you think? Like this Suite of products? Why not check it out ? And remember if the Suite item number is unavailable due to a back order, you can still order the individual items.

Enjoy!

On a personal note.

While I was originally suppose to fly out yesterday for this event I guess things worked out for the best since since it’s now being streamed. I’m really excited about this event and look forward to it starting this afternoon.

While I was disappointed not to be able to gather together with my fellow demonstrators and friends and see New Orleans for the first time, Stampin’ Up! has already started this event with a bang! I received a surprise package in the mail earlier this month – This lovely box and it’s from Tiffany & Co.!

What a treat! I never dreamed I’d receive a gift from Tiffany & Co.! So I sat it on my shelf for a few days just enjoying the special box and wondering what was in it before I opened it.

We’ll be using these special flutes during our Welcome session later today. I’ve already got my sparkling cider chilling! It’s going to be a full 3 days streaming together!!!

Did I mention I was excited? This is a going to be another fantastic Stampin’ Up! event I can already tell just from the pre-event information we’ve received. LOL!!!

Well I’m off to set up my classroom with all the creature comforts for streaming.

Stop back by next week for more inspiration and my September Class information and my first Christmas Card Stamp a Stack this fall.

Gather Together

As crazy as it sounds the last rain showers brought yellow leaves fluttering down along the roadsides and in my front yard. It seems way too early with our 90 degree days but these little leaves are always the first sign of fall for me. And for some reason they always catch me by surprise every year the first time I see them. Then I have to remind myself that it is mid August and the hot days won’t last much longer. So that got me thinking about leaves and the Gather Together Bundle that has some wonderful images and dies for our fall crafting needs. Check out these lovely cards done with this Bundle.

This first card uses our new In Color Cinnamon Cider and the maple leaf has been colored with our Stampin’ Blends – love, love, love this coloring option for bold colors!

The Gilded Autumn Designer Series Paper (153520) was used along with the Timeless Label Punch (149516).

This next card uses our Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper (153527) and the embossing dies that are part of the bundle. They cut and emboss texture at the same time which is pretty cool.

Gather Together

open it and you have a fun little surprise – the sentiment panel is attached to the card front only giving you a different look that allows the card to stand on it’s own.

Gather Together

Some simple stamping and die cutting creates this lovely card.

Gather Together

And how about this final card? It uses the wonderful Faux Suede Trim (152472) and the lovely wood print from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (152494)

Gather Together

Don’t these cards make you think of crisp autumn nights? I always love the rich color combos for fall and this years’ In Color, Cinnamon Cider and the new Designer Series Papers are a lot of fun.

Enjoy!

Autumn Greetings

Today’s cards all use the Autumn Greetings Bundle and the lovely Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper. The Autumn Greetings stamp set uses a lovely swirly font and also includes a friendship sentiment making it more versatile for those fall cards.

This first card uses the dies along with the Timeless Label Punch (149516) and check out the Gold Edged Metallic Ribbon (144146) teamed up with the foil in the Designer Series Paper for a bit of elegance.

This next card uses the Stitched So Sweetly Dies (151690) to create a wonderful frame for the sentiment.

And this final card uses the lovely line image as it’s focal point. The card was created using a gable fold that has been dry embossed with the Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folder (153574).

I love the way that our Designer Series Paper give us a color pallet that makes creating easier and ties all kind of our products together. The coordination that Stampin’ Up! provides has always been one of the things that has drawn me to their products. How about you?

Holiday Catalog Kick Off Gather Together Make n Take

It finally feels a little bit like fall here in North Georgia with some cooler temperatures, while it is still in the 80s there’s a hint of cooler weather coming our way. And after spending the evening last night with my daughter and her band, watching them and the other county’s High School bands perform their half time shows it feels more like fall to me too.

Check out this fun fall card that we make using the Come to Gather Suite of products found in the Holiday Catalog.

This suite is filled with those colors that make us think of fall and I’m loving the Come to Gather Ribbon Combo Pack with it’s rich satin edge ribbon and linen thread – perfect for a range of products.

Today’s card uses the Brick & Motar 3d Embossing Folder to create some texture and interest in the background. Our embossing folders are perfect for this and make it quick and easy too.

Want to see how this card comes together? Check out my video tutorial and of course a printable PDF too.

Country Home Folding Box & Tutorial

Today’s project was one that I made for my Holiday Catalog Kick Off this past Saturday. It’s a great little box and it folds flat which makes it a lot of fun and super when you need to travel with something.

It uses the Country Home stamp set a fast becoming a favorite of mine and who can resist the Tile Tin Dynamic Embossing Folder – so perfect for a vintage feel.

I found these yummy little Russell Stover Pecan Delights as treats to go inside. I think the wrapper looks like Cajun Craze, how about you?

I’ve made a video tutorial for you so you can make some too. Why not take a few minutes and check it out?

And how about a printable version? It includes a complete supply list and instructions to go with the video.
