Greatest Journey Shadow Box Card Tutorial

Today’s card tutorial uses a fun fold called the Shadow Box. It’s quick and easy to do with a few score lines and I think you’ll enjoy making it for family and friends.

This card stands on it’s own so it’s great for displaying too.

Here is a quick video tutorial for you.

And of course a PDF too

Freezin’ Fun

Winter isn’t winter without some fun freezing in the snow. Or at least that is how I felt as a child growing up in Wisconsin. That first snowfall was always so much fun! Childhood memories or being wrapped up tight with my scarf. There were times I was so bundled up to go out and play I waddled out the door. And as a teen I got to learn how to ski with friends on school field trips to Little Switz. Ahh… the memories cool noses and toes. So the Freezin’ Fun stamp set immediately spoke to me when I saw it.

After all who can resist these cute little animal images? And these images are perfect for coloring a number of ways too. While all these cards use our Stampin’ Blends for a fun bold color you can also you aqua painters or Blender Pens with our Classic Ink too for a softer look.

Want to see some cards? Here are 3 great cards using this set. This first one is done in Seaside Spray and Pacific Point.

The little racoon is cut out with the Freezin’ Friends Dies (153561) and has our lovely 1/4″ Metallic Ribbon (150446) from the Annual Catalog along with the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder (150646) for texture.

And this next card uses the money saving Freezin’ Fun Bundle (155176) to create this wonderful winter ski scene.

And finally this last card creates a wonderful winter scene using the fun shadow box card technique.

I can’t pick a favorite. Can you? Why not leave me a comment and let me know which one you like best?
