Thoughtful Wishes Thank You Card

Today’s card uses a Multi Color Technique that you can do with our Stampin’ Write Markers. This was a fun technique and one of the first ones I learned when I began stamping. Stampin’ Write Markers are a great value and give you lots of coloring options since they come in sets. This particular card uses our 2023-2025 In Color Stampin’ Write Markers (Last Chance 161695) and the Thoughtful Wishes Stamp set (Last Chance 163305).

I’ve created a quick tutorial for you so you can learn how to create this card and use this fun technique along with a PDF tutorial too.

Multi Color Technique Card Video Tutorial

Today’s card uses a quick and easy technique using our Stampin’ Write Markers. It also uses the same sketch that I shared with you last week.

This card uses our Countryside Corner Dies (161471), Full of Life Designer Series Paper (163357), and Iridescent Adhesive Backed Discs (161954) for a bright cheerful look. And if you love bold and bright patterns you’ll want to be sure to check out this pack of paper.

Multiple Color Accordion Panel Card Tutorial

Pleasant Pheasants

Have you seen the Pleasant Pheasants stamp set in the holiday catalog? My eye was immediately drawn to the beautiful pheasants and other fall images. Perfect to color or use with techniques like this card.

How was this technique done? You’ll need a large Clear Block, some Stampin’ Write Markers, and a Stampin’ Spritzer filled with water.

Scribble the color onto the Clear Block with the Stampin’ Write Markers, this card uses Soft Suede, Cajun Craze, and Crushed curry. Then spritz with the water and stamp onto the paper. You can leave the block in place for a few seconds to help the paper absorb the color. Then all you have to do is dry and use as desired. Yep, it’s that easy!

Say goodbye to Birthday Surprise

Today’s set is Birthday Surprise (134117/134120). A fun set that is great for all ages and has a sketched feel to it which makes it great for all kinds of looks.

Bordering on Romance

Recently I needed a get well card and here is what I came up with. I used the Bordering on Romance Stamp Set to create the focal point for my card. This is a great set since you can do so many different things with the images. And did you notice that the doily wasn’t white and were wondering how I added the color to it? I’ve got a how to video you can see here.

Have you ever water colored with our Stampin’ Write Markers? I really love our Stampin’ Write Markers and use them for a lot of my projects. It’s one of my favorite ways to use them and now that our Watercolor Paper comes in larger sheets it a lot easier to use them for any of our images.

I hope this card brought a smile to her face when she opened it.

Charlotte Regional – Twist it Up!

Ever have one of those aha moments? Well I did recently at our recent Charlotte Regional when Donna Griffith asked the question, Are you a twister? Sometimes we forget the most basic things as we demonstrate and need a quick reminder.

Do you twist the markers around until you can see the picture of the tip to determine which end you need? Well twist no more – just take a look at your marker, and you’ll see a line at each end–one is thicker than the other.
