It’s Friday and that means a tutorial. This week I needed a birthday card for a friend who loves music and so I thought this card would be perfect for them. Bright and cheerful with a retro feel to it.. and it pops up to stand on their mantel too.
I originally designed this back in August and had thought about using it as a BackStage swap too, but then decided against it. You’re going to love the NEW Deckled Circle Dies (162286) they come in tons of sizes!
It has a nice little signature panel on the back that pulls in the music too.
Want to see how I made this card? I’ve whipped up a video tutorial when I was creating it and of course a PDF tutorial for you too. I’m just loving this pattern from the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper stack (161640) it’s designed to have patterns that work with all kinds of our stamp sets.

Today is going to be short and sweet since I’m taking my computer back to Best Buys to finish things up, I’m hoping. You just don’t know how much you need something until it doesn’t work right. lol.
Today’s card was created with one of the NEW Mini Catalog Bundles, Pick of the Patch (162200) that will be available to order starting on September 6th when the September – December Mini goes LIVE. I couldn’t resist this fun little set that has these cute little pumpkin and gourd images perfect for fall and Halloween.
I’ve teamed up the set with the Them Bones Designer Series Paper (162215) that has this wonderfully warm plaid pattern done in rich warm tones for the season. I think you’ll really enjoy these patterns found in the paper which you focus on the Halloween side or the more neutral side like this one.
This card seemed to be a hit during the swap on Thursday evening. I have a quick video tutorial for you and PDF showing you how I created this card.
Enjoy and then stop back by next week when I’ll be sharing some of the swaps that I received in #BackStage Las Vegas with you!
If your a frequent customer of mine you should have already received your New Mini Annual Catalog.

Wow, I’m back from Vegas and another fantastic Stampin’ Up! event and sort of have my computer working, so I thought I’d share with you one of the cards that I made for my #BackStage swap in Las Vegas.
I really love the way they turned out and couldn’t pick a favorite color so I made several. I got a good response from my fellow swappers with this Annual Catalog stamp set which was nice too.
I couldn’t resist using the Construction Zone stamp set (161582) that was one of my first must haves but haven’t had time to play with. So since my computer was driving me nuts, I decided it was a great time to chill and create with this fun little set. And I had a blast so I’ll be sharing more tutorials with you soon.
Cute right? and it has some great all occasion sentiments. While my son is now in his 30s I can remember his love of his little tonka trucks and construction equipment. So I know that the cards I create with this set will bring a smile to his face, after all I think it is a great set for our guys all ages.
I chose Crushed Curry from the Regals Collection Designer Series Paper (161642) for my original design that I will share with you today for my tutorial, but as you can see fork lifts come in all colors so the Brights Collection works well too!
Want to see how I made this so you can make some too? Check out my Video tutorial below along with my PDF with measurements, supply list and step by step directions.
School is starting here in North Georgia and so I’ve been busy whipping up some treats for the teachers and staff at the school. These little treats are quick and easy and hold just a couple of Nuggets, so they are a great way to show a bit of appreciation or treat someone.
Want to make some too? Why not check out my quick little video and a PDF with the measurements and supply list for you too.
