Enjoy the Rhythm Pop Up Card Tutorial

It’s Friday and that means a tutorial. This week I needed a birthday card for a friend who loves music and so I thought this card would be perfect for them. Bright and cheerful with a retro feel to it.. and it pops up to stand on their mantel too.

I originally designed this back in August and had thought about using it as a BackStage swap too, but then decided against it. You’re going to love the NEW Deckled Circle Dies (162286) they come in tons of sizes!

It has a nice little signature panel on the back that pulls in the music too.

Want to see how I made this card? I’ve whipped up a video tutorial when I was creating it and of course a PDF tutorial for you too. I’m just loving this pattern from the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper stack (161640) it’s designed to have patterns that work with all kinds of our stamp sets.

Enjoy the Rhythm

If you love music or has someone in your life who does the Enjoy the Rhythm (160361) stamp set is one that makes a good choice.

Since it’s filled with wonderful musical sentiment and images it’s great for your music geek or even a teenager. After all who doesn’t love music? And with my daughter being a Band Director I knew this was one I would love creating with. Check out these fun cards using the set.

This first one uses simple stamping

Interest and texture has been added with the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder (156392) and Stylish Shapes Dies (159183). And a bit of sparkle was added with a few Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins (160387). And if you’d like a little more technique why not check out this fun project?

This card uses the same Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder (156392) but has been run through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss with a bit of Smoky Slate Ink added to the folder first, making it more like a stamp. That layer is placed behind a piece of our Lovely Layers Vellum (158919) that has been stamped with our StazOn Jet Black Ink Pad (101406) and then colored with our Stampin’ Blends. The Deckled Rectangle Dies (159173) used to cut out the image gives it a bit texture and pulls in the Pumpkin Pie from the drum set. Fun right?

Why not stop by my Online store and check out this stamp set? You’ll like how you’ll be able to mix and match our musical products both current and past. And then don’t forget to stop by tomorrow for my card tutorial using the Something Fancy Bundle from the Mini.
