Terracotta Tile is one of my favorite In Colors and this card teams it up with Basic Black for a striking card that is quick and easy to make.

I love the sentiment used for this card and it seemed perfect for today’s post since it is registration day for our Stampin’ Up! event. I just know good things are going to happen over the next couple of months! And I love these events with my team and fellow demos from across the country.
I’ve got my goals set and I’m working hard to meet them. (I shared them with you the other day, but you can click on goals to see them if you missed them and want to help me reach my goal.)
The 2019-2021 In Colors are a beautiful group of colors that you can purchased individually right now, or in sets for the card stock, Designer Series Paper stack, and Stampin’ Write Markers. We’ve also have some of the Stampin’ Blends available in In Colors – whoo hoo!
Good news if you have been waiting for the Purple Posy Classic Ink – Stampin’ Up! has worked out the kinks in manufacturing and it should be available soon. I’ll post when they tell us an exact date.
I digress, can you tell its late? Any how, this card uses the Designer Series Paper Stack for a bit of color behind the beautiful image and sentiment and can you see the scalloped Linen Ribbon tucked behind the focal point? It adds a bit of texture and interest to the card and is a great way to use the ribbon.
Sounds like my son is coming in from the garage after playing with some of his new toys, so I’ll head on out to see what he has been up to.

Do you love cuckoo clocks? I feel in love with them when I was on a school trip to Germany back in High School. Standing in the Marienplaz in Munich watching the fabulous Rathaus-Glockenspiel was amazing and I was fascinated by the working of the clock. At that point I began my hunt for my own version of a cuckoo clock, I ended up finding one in Oberammergau later in my trip. It played a different tune on the hour and the half hour. I loved hearing it play everyday, unfortunately it fell from the wall as I tried to hang it in my first apartment and it has never been the same.
Any how, when I saw this set I knew it would be a lot of fun with it’s interactive elements.

One of my mom’s favorite flowers in her garden are her bearded iris. Her garden was filled with color and a bunch of different varieties and sizes when I was a child. A love of gardening that was passed down from her mother and her Aunt Adeline. I still remember those walks through the yard sharing each bed and talking about what was in them. Not a skill that was passed down to me I’m afraid. So this stamp set is more my skill level and it reminds me of those childhood strolls.
Here is a lovely card done in shades of Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape.
I wish you could see the shimmer of the black embossed outline and sentiment, I’m not sure it shows up well in the photo.

Have you seen this set filled with wonderful crafting images? I really enjoy using it and wanted to share some more swaps that I received using this suite of products found on pages 52-54 of the Annual Catalog.
I really love the color combination of the Follow Your Art Designer Series Paper (149489) combined with our In Colors Seaside Spray and Rococo Rose on this first card which uses a fancy fold.
Isn’t it great how all our products work together? While these two colors are not in the Designer Series Paper they work to create a rich color pallet for this card.

I mentioned last Friday that I was getting ready for my team retreat – we gather 3 times a year for weekends of stamping, laughter, food and fun. I really look forward to these gatherings of uninterrupted crating time with my peeps. They are the best and while it is like a big slumber party we also get to get to use our Holiday PreOrder goodies to create. What could be better?
A shoe box swap of course! While it was a small gathering this time due to schedules we still had a wonderful time at our shoe box swap. It is always good fun and I love seeing what everyone is creating. Here are some of the projects.
This first card is for Halloween and uses the Apple Builder Punch (150663) and the coordinating Harvest Hello stamp set (150581).
This set is great for quick and easy card since it has a coordinating punch – and a super set for teachers and back to school projects since its got some wonderful sentiments too.
And here is a card that uses a bundle (153006) that is sure to be popular.
The Christmas Gleaming Suite is filled with wonderful products, and the Brightly Gleaming Designer Series paper (150429) includes Copper Foiling that is quite striking. We used the new Copper Delicata Metallic Ink for this project (150707/150708) and can you see the subtle shimmer of the Shimmy Crystal Effects (150892) that we used for the berries? So excited to have these new option for our crafting!
And finally here is my card that I created using the Toile Christmas Bundle (152367) from the Toile Tidings Suite of products.
I just fell in love with this Distinktive stamp set as soon as I saw it – the cardinal is always a favorite of mine. I’ll be working up a tutorial for you and hope to share it in the next week or two as we get closer to the Holiday Catalog launch on September 4th.

Books contain a piece of each Designer Series Paper staggered at 1/4″ for easy flipping. (The exception is the Feels Like Frost, Night Before Christmas, and Wrapped in Plaid with 12 patterns staggered at 1/8″ for easy flipping.) The shortest piece of Designer Series paper is 4 3/4″ long.

Here is how my paper shares/swatch books work… first I save your spot and collect your payment, then I place the order, receive the order, cut and package the paper, package up your swatch book/share for mailing and then take them to the Post Office to ship.

Yesterday was my monthly Team Meeting and while I always enjoy these gatherings yesterday was extra special because I was able to surprise with my box that arrived just in the nick of time – So everyone was able to get their first look at the 2019 Holiday Catalog products too. Who doesn’t love that?
