Hang an Ornament & More

Christmas is next week and as we deck the halls I thought I’d share another set from our Holiday Mini. The Hang an Ornament Bundle (Last Chance 164090) consists of a stamp set (Last Chance 164282) and dies (Last Chance 164089).

Here are a couple of cards using this set. This first one uses a watercolor wash along with the dies to create a two tone panel done in watercolor paper.

It also has a fun pop up element to it

allowing the card to stamp on its own. And here is another card using the same Pretty Peacock and Lost Lagoon. It has a different feel to it as it uses the soft Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper (162133) for it’s back drop.

A few of the 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems (163781) and Basic Rhinestones Jewels (144220) add a touch of shine and texture to the project. And these next card uses the Season of Season of Elegance Suite (Last Chance 164030).

This first card uses the beautiful Season of Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper (164144) and Gold Foil Sheets (132622). While this next card uses the negative image to highlight the lovely pattern of the die cut tree.

Wondering about the star? It is cut from a piece of our 2024-2026 In Color Glimmer Specialty Paper (163771)!

along with all occasion sentiments too. Check out these lovely cards using the bundle. This first card is done in Pool Party and Smoky Slate giving it a crisp cool winter feel.

The fun little pompons on the edge of the Pool Party 5/8″ Pompom Ribbon (Last Chance 164129) give it a bit of texture too and look like snow balls. This next card uses a bit of the snowflake pattern from the Snowy Scenes Designer Series Paper (Last Chance 164333)

to set the scene for this winter greeting. Done in non traditional colors of Blushing Bride, Poppy Parade and Early Espresso. And want a wow card? This next card teams up the Frozen Edges stamp set (Last Chance 164318) with the Sparkling Snowflakes Tag Topper Punch (162164).

It uses Night of Navy, Basic Gray, and Crumb Cake and it’s a fun fold.

Open the punched sentiment panel and see the lovely snowflakes from the inside panel. then open the card and you have a spot for your sentiment and signature.

Fun right? And if you want a card that is a lot of fun how about this one that looks like the abdominal snowman?

Sweetest Star

Today’s cards uses the Sweetest Star Bundle (Last Chance 164098) that is a fun way to create cards and gifts.

Both of today’s cards use the Santa image from the set and team the image with different sentiments. This first card is quick and simple with a bit of the plaid pattern from the Iconic Celebrations Designer Series Paper (Online Exclusive 164193)

and a bit of shine from using the Gold & Silver 1/8″ Trim Combo Pack (Online Exclusive 161633). Our Stampin’ Blends give the image bold color and are fun to use. This next card is a fun fold card using the Take a Bow 6×6 Designer Series Paper (164309).

The sentiment was cut out using the Nested Essential Dies (161597) and the Cherry Cobbler & Pearl Adhesive Backed Berries (164119) and a nice little accent. There are two flaps to this card

that open. Each allowing you to see a bit of the inside slowly.

As a baker who loves to make Christmas cookies this will make a fun tag for my platters this holiday season,

the sentiments are perfect for this I thought when I saw it. And of course the Sweetest Star Punch (164097) makes it so easy and easy! What do you think?

Christmas Friends

Do you love cute little animal stamps? I know I do. While our children are adults there is just something about the animals that I still enjoy crafting with. The Christmas Friends Bundle (Last Chance 164088)

has those cute little animals that you can create with and is fun to color since they are simple line art images. Check out these fun cards made with the reindeer for this holiday season. This first card uses the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder (162026) to add texture to the background.

A bit of the Nests of Winter Designer Series Paper (164183) has been used for the snow filled sky. The torn edge mimics the feel of a snow covered ground and our Stampin’ Blends give a nice bold pop of color to the images. Our very popular Red & White Adhesive Backed Peppermints (164050) will be back, great news as they are so cute!

This final card for the day uses the same bundle but it has such a different feel to it, simply by changing colors and using the bold pattern from the Regal Winter Designer Series Paper (Last Chance 164156) with its rich jewel tones.

A bit of the Gold & Silver 1/8″ Trim Combo Pack (Online Exclusive 161633) adds a bit of shine along with the Basic Rhinestones Jewels (144220).

Embraced with Love

The holidays are upon us and that means gathering and traveling, unfortunately the end results can mean being under the weather. And who doesn’t like a little pick me up knowing someone is thinking of them when you don’t feel good?

The Embraced with Love Stamp Set (Last Chance 164246) gives you get well options and more. And these little animals are adorable too. Check out this lovely card using a quick and easy stripping technique for the background.

While the image was colored with our Stampin’ Blends and cut out using our Stylish Shapes Dies (159183) the background technique adds bold color and pulls out the colors Peach Pie, Azure Afternoon, and Cajun Craze that were used for the bear and blanket.

How was the background made? Everyone has those 1/2 inch strips laying around, right? simply draw a line across the card front at an angle starting at the top left down to the bottom right. Add your first strip along this line for a starting point then add the next strip and so on until top section is filled. Trim ends to line up with the card front. Next, line up the ends of the strips along this line for the bottom section, adhere and trim with the edge of the card front. Yep, that simple! and what an impact.

A few of our Earth Tones Shimmer Gems (164070) add a bit of texture and shine to the card.

Did you know that Stampin’ Up! announced our Last Chance products from the Holiday Mini catalog? The Embraced with Love Stamp Set (Last Chance 164246) is part of that list and is only available while supplies last.

Shepherd’s Care

The Shepherd’s Care stamp set (164300) is a beautiful stamp set that has some wonderful sentiments included.

It’s easy to use for simple monochromatic cards since it has built in shading or adding color. Take a look at this first card that is stamped in Crumb Cake Classic Ink and uses just a bit of Lost Lagoon to add color to the shepherd.

Or this next card that chooses to add color to the full image.

The star and sky has been stamped using our White Craft Ink (147277) and uses a few Basic Rhinestones Jewels (144220) to add some shine along with our Brushed Gold & Silver Specialty Paper (Online Exclusive 164861) is used as a mat behind the shepherd.

And now how about some fun folds? These next two cards use the sentiment as the focal point on the card front. This first card uses our Season of Green & Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper (Online Exclusive 164324) and Stylish Shapes Dies (159183) to create this fun window.

open the card and you have a second fold and the bit of Designer Series Paper you used from the front square you cut.

And for the final card today the sentiment has been layered on our Gold Mercury Vellum Specialty Designer Series Paper (Online Exclusive 164142) a piece of Basic White gives contrast to the Pretty Peacock card base.

A bit of our Pretty Peacock & Gold 3/8″ Metallic Ribbon (162588) has been used for the bow and a few Petal Pink & Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems (162587) ties it all together. Open the card for a lovely surprise scene.

Simple stamping has been used along with some fussy cutting for the shepherd. And a simple slit and scoring creates the pop out to hold the image. The star shines with another bit of gold found in our accessory, Blooming Pearls (162238).

Wow, right? This set is a classic that you’ll be reaching for over and over again in your holiday project.

On a personal note I have family here for Thanksgiving week and won’t be sharing the rest of the week, but will be back next week. I hope everyone will enjoy their Thanksgiving.

Artful Amaryllis

Are there certain things you think of when you think of the holidays? For me it is poinsettias and Amaryllis, traditional gifts when going to someone’s home for a gathering. I used to receive an Amaryllis from my boss each Christmas when I was young and enjoyed watching it grow and bloom over the weeks.

The Artful Amaryllis Bundle (164082) includes a lovely two step image along with all occasion sentiments.

The Artful Amaryllis Dies (164081) allow you to build Amaryllis and make them feel 3d too. Check out today’s cards that highlight this lovely bundle.

This first card uses simple stamping to create a lovely friendship card. And our Faceted Gems Trio Pack (162148) add a bit of shine. This next card steps it up a bit to create a holiday card.

It uses our images this time that have been colored with our Stampin’ Blends and then cut out with the dies. Mounted onto a back drop of Snowy Scenes Designer Series Paper (164333) with a bit of gold shine added using the Cherry Cobbler & Gold 1/4″ Satin Ribbon (164028) and Adhesive Backed Metallic Gems (163780). Do you recognized the die cut sentiment? It is from our Peaceful Season Bundle (164021).

And finally this fun fold card that uses our rich Cherry Cobbler classic Ink and the Spotlight on Nature Dies (163580), Timber 3d Embossing Folder (156406) to add texture and highlight the Amaryllis.

A bit of gold shine has been added with our popular Season of Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper (164144) and Drusy Adhesive Backed Embellishments (164223).

So what do you think? Can you see the possibilities with this bundle?
