#OnStage2019 Bird Ballard Flip Album

Whew, it’s been a busy weekend and I’m just catching up. I had a fantastic time over the weekend at our OnStage Local in Atlanta. It’s always great to meet new friends! Friday I shared one of the table 3d treats I made for folks and today I wanted to share the fun flip album I made as part of my team gifts for the event.

I just love the Bird Ballard Designer Series Paper with all it’s lovely water colored images so it was a perfect choice for this project as we were getting our first look at the 2020 January-June Mini Catalog & Sale-a-bration Brochure. (You are going to LOVE it!)

This album was fairly easy to whip up and is perfect for all kinds of events, trips, or even a brag book for Grandma! It will hold up to 10 photos including a 4×6, but is compact so it’s easy to store or take along with you.

I’ve made a video tutorial for you so you can see how I created this Flip Album

And if you’d like the complete supply list, measurements, and a step by step tutorial that contains some additional photos to go along with it here is my PDF version too.

So what do you think? Like it and want to make one too? Why not leave me a comment and let me know?

#OnStage2019 – Atlanta

I loved having our largest group yet from our team attend and I think everyone had a blast learning, sharing, and meeting others from across the country. Since we had a large enough group we even sported our first team t-shirt! Spending time with these special ladies was a great way to end my 10th Anniversary year being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.

I’ll be sharing more of our #OnStage2019 experience through out the week as I unpack things. So stop on by to check out some sneak peaks too!

On a personal note my technology has been uncooperative so I apologize for things being a bit scattered lately. I had to spend the day at the Apple store yesterday, so hopefully I’ve got things sorted out now. Next to find a computer person.

2019 Incentive Trip – Maui, here we come!

I have been trying to figure out how to share my good news with you all… and it is truly big news!

On August 26th, I got several customer orders that put me over top allowing me to achieve the Stampin’ Up 2019 Incentive Trip to Maui.  On October 6th reports will be finalized and I will be able to redeem the points for an all-expenses paid trip for two to Maui July 2020. I can’t even begin to tell you just how excited my husband, Larry is about this trip!!!

I am still processing the fact that I’ve reached my goal and pinching myself to make sure it’s not a dream. I was not sure that I should share until it was official, but I wanted to go ahead now since so many of you have been following my progress.

So here goes and all I can say is Thank you!

Thank you to my AMAZING customers.  Every order you place allows me to do what I love AND share my love of crafting with you. I can’t tell you how much your support and friendship mean to me.

Thank you to the best team ever! The Blue Mountain Stampers thank you for sharing your talent, inspiring me, and keeping me on track! You have been working hard too, and becoming successful in each of your own ways. I am so proud of you, and that fact you let me be a part of your Stampin’ Up! journey. I’m so honored that you have you chosen to join our team! I could not have achieved this trip without you!

Thank you to those NEW customers who reached out to me and placed orders. You’ve touched me deeply with your kind comments and your desire in wanting to help me reach my goal.

Thank you to my biggest fans who have stamped with me over the past 10 years! You refer your friends to me. You share your life and encourage me to become better. You are the inspiration! Because of you I feel like I can achieve anything.

Thank you to my husband and family who have been supportive and have patiently waited for me and pitched in when I needed it.

Thank you to my adopted Stampin’ Up! family who have given me their friendship, believed in me, mentored me, and inspired me to reach for the stars.

Thank you so much for making this goal and my dream come true!

(Disclaimer: less than 1% of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators make the Incentive Trip each year)

OnStage 2019 Annual Catalog Product Purchase Premiere Sneak Peek & More

I received my OnStage Product Purchase Premiere goodies yesterday afternoon and didn’t get the video uploaded until late, so today I’m sharing it since I wanted to give you a sneak peek of what is coming! You are going to fall in love with the NEW In Colors – I know I have!

Friday night I was able to attend CenterStage. The excitement was high as we entered that evening.

I love this event since it is a much smaller group of us – it’s a great chance to share and make new friends over a lovely meal.

The excitement is always high since it is our first time together AND our first peek at the 2019 Annual Catalog.

And of course Stampin’ Up! makes it extra special with an CenterStage gift – check out this beautiful wrist purse and punch.

Saturday morning when we entered the room – the tables were set up and decorated

I always enjoy seeing how they “hide” our Make n Takes in the center piece of the table – they are hiding in the Stampin’ Up! box this time, perfect coordination for our Follow Your Art Suite. lol!

Want to see some more pics of OnStage – Charlotte?  Here are some more of our time together.

Everyone was excited to get their catalogs first thing! (That’s our new stamping friend on the far right, Orliea who joined us at our table.)

And of course, what would be a Stampin’ Up! event without stamping together?

Prize Patrol is always great fun – and Stampin’ Up! is always so generous!

I can’t believe everything I received at OnStage, I couldn’t fit it all in my bag!

I was thrilled to be able to share my walk across the stage for reaching my $100,000 sales goal this February with my team there. And touched by my team who was waiting for me right below the stage snapping pictures and cheering me on. How special they made me feel!

I’m so lucky to be able to share what I love with you. I truly appreciate you and am so blessed to have met such wonderful friends over these past 10 years. I can’t imagine what my life would have been like if I hadn’t started down this road all those years ago. I couldn’t do this without you, my wonderful customers and team members!

What can I say? Can you tell? I LOVE the creative time, getting to meet new stamping friends, and of course time with my team time too! I can’t wait until November when we’ll be doing doing this again in Atlanta!!!

Butterfly Gala Floating Frame

Today’s project is one that I made for part of my Team gift that I gave everyone attending OnStage in Charlotte this past weekend. It’s a twist on the floating frame cards you’ve been seeing pop up – but this really is a frame lol. I thought it would be great to have a special frame of our stamping friends and a reminder of the wonderful time we had last weekend.

I really like the way the frame turned, out so I thought I’d share a video tutorial with you on how I made them. They are really easy to do. It’s a few days late since the first time I filmed it the file was corrupted so I had to do it again, not sure exactly why, but then that is the way with technology, right?

I’ve used the Stampin’ Blends to color the butterflies and I chose the shades of blue since our Team name is The Blue Mountain Stampers. Get it?

I placed those that I could on their pillows once we arrived in Charlotte.

The bags were stamped using the retiring Bloom by Bloom stamp set (148820) and Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper (148795) was used for the tags.

I also used the Large Letter Framelits (141712) that are also on the retirement list for the tags – boy, do I hate to see these go, I use them all the time! Get yours before the supply is gone.

And here is a close up of the back.

Want to see how I made these Butterfly Gala floating frames?

Here is a video for you and of course a PDF tutorial too. I’ve also included a complete supply list below for you so you can make some too. So keep scrolling since it is at the very bottom!

Please let me know if you have any questions I know that the lists can be a bit confusing. The easiest way to see everything is in my Online Store HERE.

Stop back by tomorrow when I’m hoping to post some of the fun of OnStage with you – today I’m heading to the vet. Our four legged family member, Chewie decided to have a run in with the fence and lost on Friday night while I was gone to OnStage.

Poor thing. She has needed a lot of extra attention since I’ve been home and is not liking the confinement needed so she can heal.

Enjoy!

Team time at OnStage

Today’s projects are some fun ones that I always enjoy doing when we have a Stampin’ Up! event for my team. And I’m excited to be heading for our OnStage Local in Charlotte this weekend. What could be better than spending time with others who love stamping?

However when you are with hundreds of other demonstrators who all have the same bag – I find it is fun to have yours easily identifiable with a special name tag. So here is what I came up with for our Charlotte event.

I love the little charms I’ve added to the tag too. They are so much fun to make – and I found some beads that I think went nicely with what I expect to be some of our new 2019-2021 In Colors!

After the event they can be added to our key chains if they’d like. And to help them jot down all the great ideas – everyone needs a note book and pen. I used our Crafting Forever stamp set (14955/143958) and the Layering Circles Framelits Dies (141705) to create the sentiment.

And I used the sentiment set from Sale-a-bration for the inside. I am truly blessed by my Team, they inspire me every time we gather.

I’ll be sharing a tutorial for these when I get back – they were so much fun to make! I’m afraid I just ran out of time this week.

And finally some post its so that we can flag all those new products that we want! I know this years Annual Catalog is going to be a great one. (I’m sure my shopping list will be a long one) – I can’t wait to see it!

I really like the way that the note pad and flag holders turned out. They were made with a demonstrator supply folder that I cut apart. I love the flowers so I was happy I was able to make the flowers on the front of the folder the focal point, and the back of the folder had our logo which was perfect for the flags I thought.

I had planned on sharing a video tutorial with you today of the final gift, but my IPad apparently didn’t like something I did since the file is corrupted, so I’ll be sharing that with you next week as soon as I can re film the project.

Enjoy your weekend and stop back by next week to see the OnStage fun and a sneak peek at the new 2019 Annual Catalog.

Speaking of which The Annual Catalog is right around the corner and I won’t be able to mail you one if you have chosen no contact in the Online Store.

OnStage Swaps & More!!

I love to share projects with you and this week I’ll be sharing some of the swaps that I received while at OnStage in Orlando – It was a fantastic event with over 6,000 stampers and tons of ideas!

I’m going to start with this beautiful card using the At Home with You (143681) and Merry Christmas to You (147702) stamp sets. I hope the photo does it justice since it just shines and shimmers.

The holly images were stamped onto our Window Sheets (142314) in StazOn Jet Black Ink (101406/102566) and then layered onto our Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper to create this stunning effect. Simply beautiful.

This next card uses one of my favorite holiday sets from the Annual Catalog, Stylish Christmas (146770/146773).

This simply elegant card uses the Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack (146329) to wrap up the elegance.

And finally a card for fall using the Colorful Seasons stamp set (143726) and Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies (143751).

This card has a lot of great texture with the Woodland Embossing Folder (139673) in the background.

I’ve got some photos for you too! My first day in Orlando I was able to participate in my friend’s Sherrie’s shoe box swap. I have really come to enjoy this opportunity to stamp with friends over the years since my very first Leadership and was able to do 2 for the first time. So I spent an afternoon and evening stamping, and  having fun seeing new and old friends from all over the country.

Do you see me?

That’s me in the back under the arrow. LOL! And it was fun to have one of my team mates, Tracey join me again for this event.

The rest gathered with us for dinner that night. Our excitement high for the  start of the OnStage Live 30th Anniversary event.

Stop back by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing more from OnStage with you.

Petal Passion Personalized Photo Albums

Today’s project is a personalized album using the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper. I chose this paper because since it is black & white I could customize the albums with my team members favorite color. I think they turned out pretty cool.

I love to pamper my team at OnStage and I thought it would be a fun way for them to keep their memories of the event and the fun they had together. I also made a coordinating bag tag for everyone with charms to go on their key chains later.

I used some Shrinky Dinks for the OnStage piece – fun, right?

I think the team were pleased when they found them in their rooms.

Want to see how to make one of the Photo Albums for yourself?

I’ve made some personalized photo albums by simply changing out the OnStage image and adding a letter using our Large Letter Dies. I also made some quick modifications to the inside – that’s the beautify of this album! You can add pages, change the cover or color, journaling areas – the options are unlimited!

I’ve created some for family and friends too – so I’m all set for my upcoming gift giving needs – got to love that, right? lol

Here is my Petal Passion Personalized Photo Album Video Tutorial

And since you’ll need the supply list and measurements I’ve whipped up a PDF too – I’ve included lots of pictures for you so you can see all the pages finished.

Color Revamp & CenterStage

Stampin’ Up! events are a lot of fun and because of you I’ve been lucky enough this year to attend CenterStage. This event is a special one since it is based on title and by invitation only.

We were pampered and given special training along with this color swatch ring. What does that mean for you? It means I get to share more with you of course – And I love to share with you!

So today I’ve whipped up a quick video sharing the Color Revamp  that is coming in the 2018 Annual Catalog – I thought seeing them “in person” would help. Of course you’ll be able to get your hands on them and play at my upcoming Catalog Kick Off (more details coming soon) and team meetings!

2018 COLOR REVAMP SNEAK PEEK VIDEO

So you can still stock up on your favorite colors, card stock and other items during the Last Chance promotion.

Here are some more pics from CenterStage for you. Check in says it all…

The tables were decorated with an 80’s theme and strobe lights of course were flashing. I was sporting my shoulder pads!

Heartland, OnStage & More

Today I’m going to share one of my cards that I created for my OnStage swaps and I’m including a tutorial for you too. This set makes a wonderful masculine cards and I’m always in need of that! How about you?

Love it- it reminds me of all those barns that dotted the country side in Wisconsin. As a child they did school field trips to a really cool living museum, Old World Wisconsin, where they had moved all kinds of barns and had live reenactments from different time periods. It really brought history to life. However, I do remember having been very tired at the end of the day for the long bus ride home. LOL I should have such energy now!

Any how, I bet you’d like to see the tutorial, right?

Enjoy! I’ll include the supply list at the bottom of this post for you, so scroll down.

More OnStage….

On a personal note I wanted to share some more photos of OnStage Live – Salt Lake with you. I also want to say thank you, to my fellow crafters, stamping friends, and Team members for your support and help in reaching my goal this year. I couldn’t have taken this step on my journey without each and everyone of you!

I was one of the 160 Demonstrators world wide who promoted to Silver Elite this year and just 1 of the 44 who were in attendance at OnStage Live in Salt Lake who were recognized with a walk across the stage. I can tell you it made my first Live event VERY special.

I couldn’t have done it without you and I’m feel extremely blessed to have each and everyone of you in my life! Meeting and creating friendships while stamping was a special blessing that I didn’t expect when I joined the Stampin’ Up! family 8 years ago. So thank you again!

This promotion allowed me to participate in Leadership training, which allows me to share even more with you. And I can’t wait to share – I’m so excited about the new Occasions Catalog and Saleabration offerings I hope you will be too!

CenterStage is a special event that I was able to attend Thursday night with some wonderful entertainment.  Here is my friend Susan and I at the dinner. We had the pleasure of sitting with Nancy Gauthier and some of her team. (Nancy was the #1 Demonstrator in Leadership in Canada).

I thoroughly enjoyed Jason Hewett who was the entertainment for the night. I laughed until I cried he was sooooo funny!  I wasn’t alone, we were all wiping our eyes by the time he finished. You can find some of his older stuff on YouTube if you are curious.

Yikes and its getting a bit nippier at night inside my house with the cooler temps. I’ll have to wait and see and crazy it gets around here.

On Stage, Country Living & More

Wow, it has been a world wind 7 days with lots of fun, laughter, and friends! I’ve got lots to share with you, but today I’m going to share a card that I created for my On Stage Shoebox Swap with Sherrie and more!

I’ve waited 8 years to get to go to a Stampin’ Up! event in Salt Lake and it was well worth the wait – I had a blast and can’t wait for the next On Stage in April, after all I always enjoy stamping with 2,700 of my closest friends. LOL!

My roommate Marnie and I  took off in the wee morning on Tuesday, ready for adventure.

We arrived in Salt Lake ready to check out the city – a quick peek out our window after we checked in (what a view)

And then enjoyed the stroll around Temple Square which included an organ recital there,

and the City Creek Center, which was an outdoor mall where we had lunch at the Blue Lemon, yum.

I couldn’t resist stopping in the chocolate shop, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, which smelled heavenly and picking something up for my hubby, Larry whom I’m left at home. As many of you know he is a chocolate fiend!

And of course we had to check out the Salt Lake Palace Convention Center.

It was fun to see all the Stampin’ Up! On Stage Banners on the posts. It was a full day for sure.

Wednesday, I did a Sherrie’s Shoebox Swap so today I thought I would share a tutorial for my card with you. Want to see the card? I really loved the way it turned out.

Here is the card I created.

I call it Boots and Bandanas – can you see my old-fashioned bandana in the background that I created with the Paisley & Posies Stamp Set. Larry didn’t I had to explain it to him, he just shrugged at me – men lol.

Here is the tutorial for you so you can make one too.
