Painted Autumn Post it Note Holder Tutorial

Last month I shared with you a cute little post it note holder that my friend Cindy made. You can see more about that HERE. They were so cute I wanted to make some of my own and here is what I came up with.

I love this Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper – the patterns are just lovely and I thought the small leaf pattern was just perfect for this project. What do you think?

They are fairly simple to make and a lot of fun too –  So today I thought I’d show you how she made them.

Painted Autumn Post It Note Holder Video Tutorial

So what do you think? Want to make some of your own?

I was apparently needed another cup of coffee, since I forgot to add the finger grip cut out in the video. So in addition to the video tutorial I’ve made to a printable PDF for you on this project.

Here is the Painted Autumn Post It Note Holder Tutorial (printable) PDF

Please Note: The photo shown uses Pear Pizzazz Card stock and the project in the video uses Garden Green. Each one works well with the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper since it pulls out different shades.

Enjoy!

Tips for using the Painted Harvest Stamp Set

Today’s card is made using the Painted Harvest Stamp Set and there are a couple of things that will make you more successful when you use this set. So today not only will I be sharing the tutorial for the Holiday Catalog Kick Off Make n Take, but I’ve also got a little video for you sharing some basics for this stamp set.

First here is the card that we made.

I love the way that this set has a built in watercolor feel to it – and it has quickly become one of my favorites to use with it’s pretty font. I used Fresh Fig for the flowers on this card and love the richness of the color.

Want the instructions to make this card? Well here is the tutorial

Painted Harvest Card (printable) PDF

The flowers are  fun to stamp, but I recommend completing one before moving on to the next so you remember your lining up point easier.

“Pop” goes the Punch Latch

When a latch from your punch pops out it can be quite explosive – but no worries, there isn’t anything wrong with the punch AND you can pop that latch right back in so you can lock it once again for storage.

I filmed this tutorial a while back and it has gotten “lost” on my computer. Sigh, does that ever happen to you? Oh well, the good news is I’m sharing it with you today!
