Layered Labels

Here is a card that I made recently using the NEW Layered Labels stamp set and the Comfort Café Designer Series Paper from the 2012-2013 Catalog. I’ve used the embedded embossing technique to add texture and make it look “quilted”.

Have you had a chance to see all the new goodies yet in the NEW 2012-2013 Catalog? Some wonderful new products have just been introduced and this card shows you a number of the NEW items. The Layered Labels stamp set coordinates with our NEW Apothecary Accents Framelits. I just love how easy it is to use the Framelits don’t you? You stamp first and just line up the frame over the image the way you want. The combinations are endless. I’m so glad that Stampin’ Up! has introduced several new Framelits and Edgelits in the NEW 2012-2013 Catalog!

Getting together with my stamping friends is soo… much fun and so I’m sorry to say I won’t be able to join them this month. I did however make this swap to share for when they get together today. My husband, Larry is being sweet enough to take them for me while I’m gone so I’ll look forward to seeing what they have made when I return home from my visit with my sister. I’ll try and share some of them when I can.

NEW World Traveler Download Available

I had so much fun putting together the last couple of pages using the World Traveler download I shared with you that I thought I would do a couple more quickly today. I love the fact that I can finish a 2 page scrapbook layout so quickly. I just chose my favorite photos and then had the My Digital Studio program drop them in for me after I chose the folder I wanted.

World Traveler (Item #130066, $17.95) comes with a 26 page photo book template, 28 piece stamp brush set, 8 Designer Series Paper patterns and 24 embellishments! What a super value.

Getting Organized

Today I’m going to share with you some organizing items that I have put together for our new 2012-2013 Catalog that was introduced June 1st. It has some wonderful new products in it I think you’ll love. Check out my Catalog Luau Launch Party coming up soon by clicking HERE – I’d love for you to come and get some of the FREE goodies.

The first item is my Designer Series Paper Chart. The chart is an easy reference for you to have and shows all the card stock colors contained in each Designer Series Paper.

Next, I have updated the labels for our Classic Ink Pads and Hanging File Folders for all our card stock. I always love to have things easy to find and these work great. All you need to have is sheet of Avery Labels #8160 and Word Window Punch to punch out your Classic Ink Pad Labels. Although, with our new ink pads this is really no longer needed since labels are included with our NEW Firm Foam Classic Ink Pads for you. I just thought some of you may like the consistency.

I also like to use them on my little tool holding drawers where I store my Stampin’ Sponges, Reinker and Sponge Daubers.  I like to use Avery Labels # 5267 for my hanging file folder labels since they are clear and I just put them on a small piece of card stock so you can see the color through it.

World Traveler MDS Download

My daughter and I are visiting my sister and brother in-law in Houston. We’re having such a great time together and doing a lot. I can’t decide who is wearing out whom.

Today I wanted to share with you one of our new My Digital Studio downloads, World Traveler. I couldn’t wait to use it – It’s a great deal for just $17.95 and makes putting your vacation photos together sooo easy! Here are a couple of pages I put together quickly this morning over coffee while visiting with my sister. I used the basic photo book template and then just added a couple more photos of my own to the page. It was so easy-peasy.

World Traveler (Item #130066) comes with a 26 page photo book template, 28 piece stamp brush set, 8 Designer Series Paper patterns and 24 embellishments! What a great value.

Getting Organized with the New 2012-2013 Catalog

Did you notice that the new 2012-2013 Catalog doesn’t have an Accessory Index? This is something that I use all the time since I have CRS. That simply means I can’t remember stuff according to my kids. It’s a running joke in our house since my teenagers seem to have it too. I notice it a lot when I mention the chores they haven’t done – seems they can’t remember me telling them to do them. Sound familiar?

Anyhow…. If you’re like me and use the index for a handy reference so you don’t have to remember what page things are on – here is a handy PDF that you can print and add to your catalog to make things easier.
