Father’s Day is right around the corner and here is a cute way to give a gift card or other small gift to dad.
I made this little box with the Geared Up Garage Bundle (150610) from the Occasions Catalog – a perfect set for the guys in our lives! I meant to share this earlier with you since I made it back at OnStage, but the tutorial got lost on my computer and I ran across it the other day. Do you ever do that? LOL if I don’t see it… you know how it goes.
It’s been 18 years since this wonderful stamp set was been introduced and now we are saying good bye to it. Lovely as a Tree (128655/127793) is such a fantastic set and can be used for all kinds of techniques and types of cards – simply team it up with your favorite sentiment set or use it alone the choice is yours.
Check out these wonderful cards made with the Lovely as a Tree stamp set – and then get yours before it’s gone!
And here are some great Christmas cards made with this set
So what do you think? You’ll want to hurry and get yours since it is only available for a short time. Check out this set along with others on our Last Chance List.
Today’s card uses one of the Last Chance stamp sets – All The Good Things (146555/146558) and it’s filled with wonderful images and sentiments.
Available in wood or clear mount it is a great addition to your collection. Check out this lovely card done in Night of Navy and silver.
I love the striking simplicity of this card. The image has been stamped in Night of Navy Classic Ink and layered onto a Night of Navy layer. Next comes a layer of Silver Foil (132178) that has been embossed with the Layered Leaves Embossing Folder (143704).
And here is another that I made during a shoe box swap – I love the Marbled Background stamp (Last Chance List 143755/144772) that has been used on the card base and the Bokeh Dots stamp (148110/148113) that was used as a background for the koi image.
Really looks like water, right? And here is another card done in Garden Green and Crumb Cake that I’ve shared with you before – this cards got lots of texture. What great guy cards!
Why not check out this and other items that are part of our Last Chance list? Stamp sets are guaranteed through May 25th, but all the other items are while supplies last.

This is a photo of my Simply Shammy after an event. tons of ink on it and it needs a good cleaning. I rinsed it in the sink to start with and got a lot of ink out of it, but still I felt it needed a better cleaning. So I jumped in and threw it in my dishwasher. Yes, you head me correctly. The color faded, I guess from the additive (I’m guessing) in the soap which didn’t bother me. However, while this worked I had stood it up on the top rack and it left little “dents” in my Simply Shammy where it rested on the bottom that have never come out. This did not make me happy.
You can see it here on the right side of the Simply Shammy.
So I figured I’d try the washer with my towels (and even my sheets lately in a pinch). I know what you’re thinking. It will stain my towels, right? I didn’t find that to be the case at all. But if you are still a little hesitant why not throw it in with something dark?
And this process worked even with the hot water I use for my towels and it didn’t leave marks or make the Simply Shammy fade either which made me happy. I’ve even missed one and dried it with the towels, it didn’t seem to hurt it but I try not to do that.
Love it! They are Clean & Fresh and ready to go for the next event!
So if your Simply Shammy is getting a bit grungy why not give it a try?
I really love these things and have multiples that I keep in a “carrying” case so I can take it with me and it stays moist when I’m stamping – If you haven’t seen my post and download for it you can check it out HERE.
Remember to allow yours to dry when not in use and simply wet again when you need it. Here in Georgia it is pretty humid so they can get kind of gross if you don’t.
I needed to whip up a bunch of graduation cards last weekend for my daughter’s students and my mind went immediately to the Large Letter Framelits Dies (1414712) that are part of the Last Chance List. I’m really going to miss the Letters for You stamp set (141968) and these coordinating dies since they make fast cards that are easily customizable to suit your needs.
Here is what I came up with
I reached for my Brights Designer Series Paper Stack (Last Chance 146964) since I needed multiples – school colors are red and black, a very common due here in Georgia. LOL!
Want to make some for yourself? With our Color Collection Designer Series Paper Stacks it’s soooo easy to make a bunch simply pick a family that has the color you need and team it up with the 2nd color using the dies!
Here is a quick tutorial for you with the complete supply list, sorry no video today I’m still cleaning up from my Spring Consignment Sale.
Many of these items are on the Last Chance List and are only available while supplies last. If you haven’t already taken a look, why not stop by and look at what is retiring now so you don’t miss out?

Today’s card uses the April Paper Pumpkin Kit stamp set. Sentimental Rose – everyone loves this kit! And I have to say I do too. With it’s DisInktive images and soft colors I can’t get enough of it.
So today’s card is made with the stamp set – I’ve added a second ink color, Brights Designer Series Paper stack, and note cards. Note cards are a great way for new stampers to begin since you have both the card and envelope in one pack!
Here is the card I came up with
Here is a quick video showing you how I put this card together
and of course a printable PDF too.

Today I had my team meeting and we had a great time sharing swaps – Our theme this month was masculine and they were all fantastic so I wanted to share them quickly with you today too.
This first card has been teamed up with the Letters for You Stamp set (141968) which is one of my favorite items that is retiring this year, since it is perfect for all kinds of projects including samplers.
And how about this card using our Retiring In Color Trqnquil Tide? It also uses our Water Color Pencils to color the muscle car – yep they aren’t just for water coloring.
And here is a lovely birthday card made using the Gate Fold with an added belly band – If you missed out on the Story Label Punch during Sale-a-bration good news, it will be available again when the 2019 Annual Catalog kicks off June 4th!
Recognize the sentiment? It’s from the retiring All That You Are Stamp set (148664) found in the Occasions Catalog on page 2.
And here is a beautiful card made with the retiring Up & Away Thinlits Dies (142748) that coordinates with the Lift Me Up stamp set (142893/142896) that is also retiring.
The beautiful background was done in Blueberry Bushel stamped. The retiring Marbled Background stamp (143755/144772) has been inked up and then stamped off first before stamping again onto the Whisper White layer to give it a softer feel.
And here is a fun fancy fold card using the retiring Country Livin’ stamp set (141922/141925) and our Well Written Framelits Dies (148534).
I love the way this card opens to hold a gift card or special sentiment. And do you recognize the die used for the Well Written sentiment? It’s the Lakeside Framelits Dies (146351) that coordinates with the Lilypad Lake stamp stet.
This next card was made using the Best Catch Bundle (150605) ad the Crackle Paint Background stamp (148755)
And how about this card made using the Let it Ride stamp set (148765) and the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder (143708). Pat made it in honor of Derby Day this past weekend.
And the final swap card of the day uses the Butterfly Gala stamp set (148580) and Everyday Label Punch (144668).
Like I said it was a lot of fun swapping and sharing – We always stamp together, learn and share.
And of course there are always door prizes
And we recognize and celebrate each others achievements with Team Gifts & More
