Today’s post shares a Make n’ Take that we did during my Holiday Catalog Kick off using the Carols of Christmas Stamp set and coordinating Card Front Builder Thinlits Dies.

I love the Carols of Christmas Bundle since it gives me all kinds of options! And since the sentiments are bold they make cards fast to design.

Colorful Seasons Tutorial

Summer is ending with this holiday weekend and you can already feel the cool morning air here in the North Georgia Mountains. The fall leaves will be falling turning and falling soon, but mean while I’m going to enjoy one last hurrah in the pool since the rain is suppose to clear out and we should have a beautiful holiday on Monday with the kids.

Today’s card is one I made using a fun Clear Block Technique with Stampin’ Spritzers. Check out my Tutorial for it below. I really love this Bundle of products and that fact that it has a coordinating suite of products – I just love creating with it and can’t wait to try out some fall cards now too!

Red, White & Blue Wood Words and July Specials

I love making little note pad holders and today’s project is no exception – I was inspired by the little flags I found in my stash and done in patriotic colors using the Wood Words stamp set I really love the way it turned out.

I’m finding the Wood Words Bundle (145314/145316) is really very versatile and a lot of fun to work with!

Want to make some yourself? They are quick and easy to make with your Stampin’ Trimmer or Simply Scored Scoring Tool. Here are the measurements for a 3 x 3 inch pad of flags.

Measurements:

Night of Navy Card : Cut 6 3/4″ x 3 1/4″; score at 3 1/4″ and 3 1/2″

Real Red Card stock: Cut 3 1/8″ x 3 1/8″

Whisper White Card stock: Cut 2 7/8″ x 2 7/8″

Instructions:

Stamp sentiment in Real Red Classic Ink in the lower left hand corner of Whisper White Card stock.
Stamp flower image using Night of Navy Classic Ink diagonally across your Whisper White Card stock. Adhere to Real Red Card stock.
Stamp star image using Real Red Classic Ink onto scrap of Whisper White card stock.
Cut out the star using the Framelits Die. Add to center of Whisper White piece using a Stampin’ Dimensional.
Add Rhinestones scattered around image and star as desired.
Add Stampin’ Dimensional to the back of the Real Red layered piece and add to Night of Navy “lid”.
Fold Night of Navy Card stock on score lines. Adhere note pad onto inside.

Yep it’s that quick and easy. Sorry no PDF for this project or video I’m limping along on my husband’s computer. But I’ve included the supply list below for you.

“Pop” goes the Punch Latch

When a latch from your punch pops out it can be quite explosive – but no worries, there isn’t anything wrong with the punch AND you can pop that latch right back in so you can lock it once again for storage.

I filmed this tutorial a while back and it has gotten “lost” on my computer. Sigh, does that ever happen to you? Oh well, the good news is I’m sharing it with you today!

Wood Words Tutorial

This card was hands down everyone’s favorite at my Catalog Kick Off this month and so I thought you would enjoy seeing it too.

This stamp set was one of the first that I got from the NEW 2017 Annual Catalog. I couldn’t resist the little Wood Crate Framelits Dies (143730) that were part of the bundle when I saw them. After all I LOVE 3d items that I can use as gifts filled with a few goodies.

If you haven’t seen the Copper Trim it is fantastic. I’ve used it in bow form here, but you can see just how versatile it is on my card HERE. And I’ve already used loads of the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack (144177)!

So Many Shells Tutorial

Today’s card is one that I made for my team Shoe box Swap this past Saturday. The So Many Shells was a stamp set I couldn’t pass up with it’s wonderful shell images. You know me I can never resist a set that is beach themed!

The sentiments in the set also cover a wide variety of needs which is always a bonus. Isn’t the font lovely?

So here is the card I created.

I stamped the Marbled Background onto Vellum to give it more of a translucent water feel to it. And I love the Copper Trim! Tug and pull and it turns into what looks like a net! Perfect for this project.

Catalog Kick Off Fun!

Saturday we kicked off the 2017 Catalog launch with a fun event where we made 3 cards using new product and stamp sets from Annual Catalog. I love these events since they are always a lot of fun – after all who doesn’t love a new catalog, right? LOL!

Today I thought I’d share some photos of the class room and what everyone received when they attended. I had lots of great cards to share on display that I’ll also be sharing with you on my blog. I totally revamped my chalk board displays and even added a little shelf since one of them needed repair.

Everyone who attended received a NEW Catalog, of course. Along with a 2017 In Color Swatches and Bookmark to hold their spot, chocolate, and a special little post it note flag holder. (I’ll be sharing some videos later this week on these projects – so watch for them in the up coming days.)

Mean while here is one of the cards we made using the Ribbon of Courage stamp set (143852/143855).
