My name is Jini Merck and I'm a Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator. I love being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, not only do I get to be creative every day, I also get to be a creative coach, offering fresh project ideas and encouragement to my customers and friends.
For me, helping someone create that perfect project for a special occasion is the best feeling in the entire world. After all, creating cards, scrapbook pages, and gift items is about more than just stamps and ink—it’s about sharing a part of yourself with the people in your life.
I live in Clarkesville which is in the North Georgia Mountains with my husband and two children. Although my family keeps me busy I enjoy the creativity of stamping and crafts and the fellowship stamping brings into my life. Spending time creativing cards and gifts for friends and family has been one of my favorite hobbies over the years.
Today’s card uses one of our big bold stamps from the Mini Catalog. The Merry Christmas Stamp set (169233) is great for creating impact on both the front and inside of your projects.
And isn’t the font it uses lovely? It caught my attention immediately. Team it up with your favorite paper and embellishments and you’ve got a great card.

With this first snow of the season possible and cold winter temperatures that arrived it makes me think of our Snowy Delights Bundle (165809) of products.
This bundle is filled with 3 great products that work together to create wonderful winter projects.
Check out today’s cards using this bundle. Today’s first card uses just the Snowy Delights Stamp Set (165801) simple stamping to create a soft snow inspired card.
And this next card steps it up while using the dies and simple sponging to add a fun negative image filled with lots of color.
Sponging has been added to the layer below with Lemon Lime Twist, Blueberry Bushel and Azure Afternoon.
The Azure Afternoon has also been used to stamp the snowflakes and used as the base for the card. Summer Splash pulls it all together with the sentiment and mat.
What do you think? Soft blues, or a fun pop of Lemon Lime Twist?
Are you a Peanuts fan? I grew up watching the Charlie Brown Christmas special so it was the first thing that went through my mind when I saw this fun little line art tree in the Festive Friends Bundle (Online Exclusive 166039).
Along with this cute little tree there are 3 great images that are quick and easy to color. Check out today’s card made with this set.
I love this quick and easy card that highlights this tree and the fun little stand that has been created with a couple of pieces of our Country Woods Designer Series Paper (163393). Clever right? to add interest to the background a easy technique has been used to add the speckle in the background.
How is it done? Create a mask for your snowman and use a toothbrush dipped in a bit of Secret Sea reinker and run your finger across the bristles to fleck or flick the tooth brush to create this fine misty look. A bit messy, so remember to protect your work service, but a lot of fun!
The Suite is filled with lovely images, uses a elegant font, and is filled with colors perfect for creating cards year round. I’ve chosen the Floral Charm Designer Series Paper (Online Exclusive166125) that uses the Timid Tiger and Petal Pink flowers since they made me think of fall.
Here is the card that I came up with
I’ve used Stampin’ Blends to color the image and give me a bold water color feel like the cards. Want to see how I did it? Check out my tutorial for today where I show you how I’ve created this card.
And why not a PDF? I’ve included measurements, products, and step by step instructions. Print it off and you’ll have everything at your finger tips including the YouTube link so you can go back and create your own card.
This Suite is filled with wonderful images and sentiments along with some wonderful Designer Series Paper that has gold foiling and shine.
Today’s cards all use this Suite to create lovely cards. Today’s first card is a fun fold that really shows off this group of products with 4 easy panels
simply open the card to see them all including the signature panel. The flowers were colored with Watercolor Pencils for a softer look.
This next card is done in bold Real Red and Garden Green panels
White Embossing Powder was used to create the sentiment panel and Stampin’ Blends give it a wonderful bold floral image. The frame layers were created with the Branching Out Dies (165775). This die set has a lovely stitched edge on them and is a great set of versatile shapes that you can use year round.
Did you know that Stampin’ Up! has an option for a virtual class for this Suite? The Traditions of Christmas Craft Class (170073) is a virtual class that you can do on your own time line since you’ll have access to the recorded class.
And no worries if something is on backorder. Stampin’ Up! gives us a choice to add our email and be notified when it comes in again. Are you looking at a Suite like this one? You’ll still get the bundle discount when you order the bundle and other items separately if the Suite is on back order. Most of the time it isn’t every item in the Suite that is on back order, but only one item. So make sure to take a look to avoid disappointment.
I love the sentiments and images but wasn’t sure about the faces. While today’s cards don’t show it the solution is simple, use your Stampin’ Write Marker and add them! A simple little crescent drawn on made me happy.
Check out today’s cards and see what you think? This set with it’s simple line art is perfect for monochromatic cards like these. But of course they are great for a quick watercolor wash to add color too. That’s the great thing about stamping, right? Our ability to make it our own!
This first card uses Silver Embossing Powder on a mat of Misty Moonlight card stock.

I needed a quick birthday card for a family member who loves purple and so I reached for the Beautiful Bokeh Designer Series Paper (164607) and came up with this soft feminine card that I thought my sister in law would enjoy.
I love the fact that the Layered Thoughts Stamp set (165346) has this big bold font making it a great focal point all on it’s own. And thought it would be perfect for a quick and easy technique like the one I used for the letters to add multiple colors.
Want to see how I created this card? I’ve got a quick tutorial for you along with a PDF today. Why not check them out?
