Darling Dinos You’re the Best Card Tutorial

Today I’ve got another tutorial sharing another fun card using the Darling Dinos stamp set (164728) and a Card Sketch I’ll be sharing with you too!

Today’s card uses the same Timeless Plaid 6×6 Designer Series Paper (164678) I shared with you on Monday and even yesterday too, but a different color pallet! I love the way we can do that with our Stampin’ Blends and a pack of our Designer Series Paper like this one. The color choices are endless.

Want to see the card?

I just love these little guys and they are a lot of fun to color! So without further ado here is the video tutorial and PDF too.

Did you know that I include my you tube link on the PDF for you too so that you can find it when you are ready to create. Simply print off the pdf that contains your measurements, supply list and even step by step directions!

I’ve been sharing these with you over the past months so you’ll be able to see them in my Sketches Category if you missed some and want to see my others PDFs so you can create them all.

Meanwhile here is the PDF for today’s card sketch. I’ve also noted the Card Sketch on today’s card tutorial pdf too for your reference.

Today I’m going to share a quick little treat to whip up for someone special, or create a bunch of them and share with everyone lol. These little treats are so fun and easy to make you won’t want to stop! I was tickled when I received this little treat in a swap a couple of years ago during a BackStage event and could wait to make my own.

Of course, since they use a punch they are great to make a bunch of them too! This treat uses the Bee My Valentine stamp set (162457) and it’s coordinating Bee Builder Punch (162553).

Want to see how I created this treat? Here is a quick video and PDF tutorial for you with the supply list and meaurements.

Blueberry Bushel Fun Fold Card Tutorial

It’s been cold here in North Georgia and while I don’t like the snow and ice to stick around long the lows at night haven’t been above freezing, so it’s still sticking around in the higher elevations and in shady spots. While it’s cold like this it makes me think of our blueberry bushes. Odd, right? But I know that the chilling hours we get now will help give me a bumper crop come June and I’ve loved picking blueberries and of course using them in all kinds of things from our bushes since our children were small.

So today’s card shows off those wonderful blueberries I’m anticipating with a fun fold. Open the front panel and you’ll see the beautiful Designer Series Paper inside.

Open the second panel and you’ll have a full panel for writing.

Want to see how I made it? Why not check out this Video Tutorial showing you how I cut this fun fold card and decorated it using the Blueberry Bushel Stamp set Last Chance List (163432) and Brights Designer Series Paper Assortment (163775).

And of course here is a PDF with a complete supply list and measurements so you can make one too.

Embraced with Love

The holidays are upon us and that means gathering and traveling, unfortunately the end results can mean being under the weather. And who doesn’t like a little pick me up knowing someone is thinking of them when you don’t feel good?

The Embraced with Love Stamp Set (Last Chance 164246) gives you get well options and more. And these little animals are adorable too. Check out this lovely card using a quick and easy stripping technique for the background.

While the image was colored with our Stampin’ Blends and cut out using our Stylish Shapes Dies (159183) the background technique adds bold color and pulls out the colors Peach Pie, Azure Afternoon, and Cajun Craze that were used for the bear and blanket.

How was the background made? Everyone has those 1/2 inch strips laying around, right? simply draw a line across the card front at an angle starting at the top left down to the bottom right. Add your first strip along this line for a starting point then add the next strip and so on until top section is filled. Trim ends to line up with the card front. Next, line up the ends of the strips along this line for the bottom section, adhere and trim with the edge of the card front. Yep, that simple! and what an impact.

A few of our Earth Tones Shimmer Gems (164070) add a bit of texture and shine to the card.

Did you know that Stampin’ Up! announced our Last Chance products from the Holiday Mini catalog? The Embraced with Love Stamp Set (Last Chance 164246) is part of that list and is only available while supplies last.

If you want to see all the items that are part of the Last Chance List click HERE for my Online Store. And if you want to mark your catalog, check out my video I posted yesterday making it easy to mark your catalog.

More Seaside Wishes

Summer. Sun, water, and sand…there is nothing like a day at the beach or pool during these hot summer days. So today’s cards highlight the Seaside Wishes Bundle (163498).

With it’s fun coordination pieces and all occasion sentiments.

Today’s first card uses a simple tearing technique and adds a bit of color to the edge with our Sponge Daubers (133773).

This next card uses the same torn edge technique to create the sand but add a bit of texture with the So Swirly Embossing Folder (163791).

It also uses our Stampin Spritzer (126185) filled with and Basic Beige Reinker and alcohol to spray the Sand dollars and star fish to add a bit more texture to the product. Little Iridescent Foil Gems (162842) add a bit of shine.

And finally this next card uses a quick and easy resist technique.

Basic stamping has been done for the cards sentiments and rocks, then the sand dollars have been stamped with VersaMark Pad (102283/102193). After a that it’s been heat embossed with our Basics Wow! Embossing Powder (165679). Finally using our Blending Brushes (153611 or 160518) Summer Splash, Shy Shamrock, and Azure Afternoon has been added and the excess wiped off with a paper towel to create the emboss resist.

Once again the Petal Pink & Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems (162587) add a bit of shine and texture.

Whether you like simple stamping, techniques, or just love the ocean I think you’ll enjoy creating this with bundle of products. So why not stop by my online store and check it out?
