Inspiring hope and having a bit of faith, today’s card wraps those things up in a Double Gate Fold card. The beautiful colors and serene scenes that the Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper (163303) include are perfect for a card like this I think.
You can see the full card inside and out in my video tutorial today, so why not take a few minutes to check it out. While the sentiments this card uses is the something old, the beautiful scenes are the something new so you can still create this project using your favorite sentiment set if you done have the retired Unbounded Love stamp set.
Today I’ll be sharing a Spanner Card with you. It’s a fun fold that is pretty easy to create but has a big wow factor. And since I’m using the Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper (163303) which is a lovely landscape paper it’s perfect for this type of card since it shows off the paper so well.
Love this paper? I know I do with it’s soft watercolor look. Want to see how I created this card? Here is a video tutorial for you today.
And of course, you’ll need the measurements, my supply list, and step by step directions with the You tube Link so everything is in one place.
So what do you think? Are you enjoying the “old & new” that I’ve been sharing with you this week? Stop back by tomorrow for a fun Double Gate Fold Card I’ll be sharing with you!
It’s that time of year to look back at 2025 and say goodbye. When I was a teenager one of my favorite things was listening to the countdown on the radio of the years hits. Now I watch the year in review on the news – It reminds me of many things I’ve already forgotten as the year seems to fly by.
So this week I thought I’d share a look back with you, some “silver & gold” from my craft room – this childhood song is about making friends. I’ve always like the meaning of the friendship song of making new friends and keeping the old – “some are silver and the others gold”. How about you?
I’ve teamed this paper up with the retired Thoughtful Wishes Stamp set and Dies which are retired. You might already have this on your shelves, if not you can use another sentiment set that you love.
Here is my video tutorial and PDF for you – the PDF includes a complete supply list and measurements.
Enjoy a bit of crafting during this holiday week and don’t forget to stop back by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing another tutorial with you that focuses on the new and old. Tomorrow’s card I’ll be sharing will be a fun fold card.

The Suite is filled with lovely images, uses a elegant font, and is filled with colors perfect for creating cards year round. I’ve chosen the Floral Charm Designer Series Paper (Online Exclusive166125) that uses the Timid Tiger and Petal Pink flowers since they made me think of fall.
Here is the card that I came up with
I’ve used Stampin’ Blends to color the image and give me a bold water color feel like the cards. Want to see how I did it? Check out my tutorial for today where I show you how I’ve created this card.

I needed a quick birthday card for a family member who loves purple and so I reached for the Beautiful Bokeh Designer Series Paper (164607) and came up with this soft feminine card that I thought my sister in law would enjoy.
I love the fact that the Layered Thoughts Stamp set (165346) has this big bold font making it a great focal point all on it’s own. And thought it would be perfect for a quick and easy technique like the one I used for the letters to add multiple colors.

So today I’m sharing a Ink Swipe Technique that I recently shared with my Team, the Blue Mountain Stampers at our October Team Meeting.
This technique is quick and simple to do using some of your favorite colors for fall. And why not pull out that Very Vanilla card stock too? I love using this card stock during the holidays as it has a warmer less bright feel to it.

Wow, where has the week gone? It’s just flown by and I haven’t been able to share with you as I had planned. So today I’m going to share another of my Halloween goodies with you, this time a treat tent filled with M&Ms. After all everyone needs a little something, something right? And who doesn’t like chocolate? Got to tell you it was tough keeping the M&Ms away from my husband so I could add them to the treat bag, lol! I’m thinking this might just be his little treat.
I’ve enjoyed creating a bunch of little treats that my family and friends will enjoy later this month and think you’ll enjoy the Suite too. The Spooky Sweet Designer Series Paper (Online Exclusive 166191) even has some fun die cut pieces you can use if you want a really quick no stamp project or simply coordinating images. Who doesn’t love that?
